I don't personally do it (I'm content with my plat controller rank, I earned it), but from what I gather or at least what used to be the case was that a good amount of people using xim are because they feel pressured to to get into higher ranks because of how rampant and potent it is. The way they've designed recoil in this game, I almost don't blame them, it is not well designed for console at all. Back when it was random, it was almost better because then you truly had to know the guns and not just hurr durr this one doesn't move and this one moved way more but just pull analog stick all the way down.
@@benculbertson536 man no offense but blaming the devs for cheaters is like, fucking dumb, because imo almost no one would play with random recoil + rust for example made recoil more randomized and a lot of players quit the game, like a *lot*, and the cheater problem is still as bad as it was before, simply because people started cheating in a different way or being more blatant
