lol iv never had a issue myself just put weight on the rear end and taking your time is key. 4 wheel drive tractors iv gotten them stuck and used a 2 wheel drive to pull it out on the same surface. Its all about knowing your tractor. Yes 4 wheel drive tractors do better if you have land that has a lot of hills but then again i don't over load the loader and iv never had a problem going up hills. I mean your riding not walking so who cares how many trips you have to make your not working any harder. Let the tractor do the work.

even though the massey is 2wd drive and the kubota is 4wd with loader the massey is lot better with the hay baling equipment then my kubota but i love them both .

Every tractor is a little different but most of the time if you hit the clutch and let it stop moving before you try to shift it most of the time it will let you shift quicker. Keep an eye on yourself after any kind of head injury , Trust me BTDT ! Bandit

Sorry to hear about your truck, good thing you weren’t hurt or worse. The truck can be replaced you can’t.

Try waiting untill the tractor is at a complete stop before going into neutral and back into gear. Leaving it in gear while you clutch and stop rolling will stop the clutch disc from spinning and causing grinding. Works great for my Case which is a real pain to shift sometimes
