I think maybe you had forgotten you weren't supposed to use any weapons at all on the hostile mobs. I suppose the fencepost on the skels in #1 didn't count, but the axe on the zombies in this one did. LOL. Looks like that last one was determined to get back at you. ;-) Really too bad! Hope you will try again next month, with microphone! ;-)

Dang muted microphone. :) Wow! Great work! The first three attempts, I tried defending the village but died every time. My fourth attempt, I decided to mine through the night. Plus, you've got enough string for a bow. And as long as there are two villagers left, you can have them repopulate the village (with enough doors). Great job!

Better luck next time! But at least you survived! Hope to see you back for the October MHC.

I'm guessing that the zombie grinder didn't result in music discs, but that the discs were in the chest in the dungeon. I think the most reliable way to find discs is by having a skeleton kill a creeper. Good progress on day 3!

I don't remember the specifics of villager breeding, but it seems like you may have to give them more food. Or maybe just patience is what's needed. Are you still planning on doing MHC? I'm looking forward to it if you are. Good video!

Nice episode. I've never seen an iron golem farm quite like that. One tip for killing villagers and golems without it counting against you is to drop sand on them.

Nice diamond find. OptiFine has a cool zoom feature. You should give the dynamic lighting a try a see what you think.

I came over from JavaDad's MHC. Looks like you've got a great start! I've been playing since beta in early 2011 but never record. Hopefully you've got your villagers protected from zombies. One suggestion for tall trees is ladders. If you stand on top of the ladders it won't slow down your swing speed.
