My most recent compliment - I was at the end of my 10 hour graveyard shift at the warehouse I work at. I passed by a female co-worker on my way to the main entrance to clock out and leave and she asked me what I was wearing because it smelled nice. She was pleasantly surprised when I told her it was Dior Sauvage Elixir, not the regular EDT most people know. Even after 10 hours at work, the projection was still strong enough to get attention. And my SOTD today at work is Montblanc Explorer. Thanks for confirming these two. Will check out a couple of the others you suggested.

Blind buying is sometimes the only option, I live in a rural area and don’t have access to the scents that I want. Blind buy success has been Dior Savage and D&G The One for me personally

Is Bleu Noir Parfum better than the EDP?

Tried royal oud few days ago, it smells heavenly. You need to try majestic special oud.

Have Ganymede, and it makes me feel so calm & secure. Definitely a fragrance enhancement to my wardrobe and overall well being. Simply marvelous juice 🙌🏽

Great list! I have both MFK Aqua Media Cologne Forte and Le Labo's Thé Matcha which are two different takes on the matcha tea vibe, with the latter being refreshing but much creamier and a touch warmer, making it work better in cooler weather whereas the MFK is a total summer jam.

Jamaican tobacco sounds interesting 🤔. I have a sample of Black Sea (potent dark sea 🧂 salty), thinking to get dream sea instead.

Have not smelled Safari Extreme however I do have the attar Abdul Samad Al Qurashi Safari and it is absolutely gorgeous! IDK how similar they are. Also, if you like Boadicea the Victorious Blue Sapphire, it was heavily influenced by Abdul Samad Al Qurashi's Al Qurashi Blend and it's much more affordable

Just got a bottle of RM no 5 Elixir. Get your nose on it if possible. Its absolutely insane.

The top Three 2024 picks for me are Roja - Isola Blu, Frederic Malle - French Lover, and MDCI Invasion Barbare. Like you, Designers barely made my year end radar; Habit Rouge Parfum was the only year end favorite from a designer brand. Seems to me you did well in 2024, great group of frags.

Only bought 6 full bottles in 2024. My favorite are MFK Amyris Homme edt, Goldfield and Banks Ingenious Ginger and Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman. Also, I bought two discovery boxes and discovered 2 fragrances that I'll be getting full bottles of this year, namely Juliette Has a Gun Ex Vetiver and Simone Andreoli Rose of Dangerous Flamenco.

Man, isola blu is soooo good. There's no situation in which that scent can't come play. I will say, it's more of a boxer dropper than a panty dropper (meaning men like it more than women & thats ok) as i receive more compliments from men when I wear it. That just means this is how men want to smell. I think its marketed as unisex but it's MUCH more masculine.

Just got a decant of Haltane and WOW this stuff is good. No it’s not really that similar to Oud for Greatness, it’s a fresher scent profile that’s sweater and less earthy. More wearable in my opinion. Definitely full bottle worthy but ya boy just picked up SWY Intensely, Dior Homme Parfum (not the new 2025), and Boss Bottled Absolu so I’m kinda over budget til next month.

Haltane is the true beast! Great review brother!
