A rainy day ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad . Video take from the cupola of the caboose. You will see several the train slowing as the locomotives have wheel slip on the wet rails. Sorry for wet window wiper needed a new blade.

June, 2013 we traveled amtrak Train # 43 from New York Penn Station to Pittsburgh, PA. Was a great ride and and a beautiful day plus lots of train action. My thanks to our conductor for letting me take this video out of the rear of the car of the train.

We have quite a group some morning for baths.
Horseshoe Curve :D
is it just me, or does the video go back and forth like it's trying to zoom in and out? If I was prone to motion sickness, I'd have gotten ill off watching this
No I used the UA-cam program for improving the video and it made it do that. Learning experience.
That's it?? What's so wonderful? It went around a curve. So what?
nice clip - thanks for sharing your impressions
great clip - many thanks for your upload snark!
I really enjoyed the video but it seemed like your camera was trying to focus through most of it. Is that true?
Great view, will go by if I can in Oct when I leave Oh, very nice view from the drone 👍
Nice video! I didn't know you could see light from the east of portal of the Gallitzin Tunnel all the way to the east.
For the most part, a good video of a great section of the old Pennsylvania Railroad "Broadway". However, like most amateur videographers, our host (AZSnarkF9) couldn't keep his hands off the camera, pointing it down, to the right and back. Perhaps, he was trying to be artsy, but it just created blurry video. Otherwise OK.
Are there plans to save the interlocking tower
Nice work. Enjoyable!!
Awesome video
I want to take this from where I live (suburban Philly) to Pittsburgh during the fall. BTW, 20:00 mark, talk about "the light at the end of the tunnel!!" Excellent video.
From the sound track and the slight wobble of the picture the wheel sets on that carriage need attention.
train numbers should be called by thier numbers, not mumbo jumbos
That’s ft worth station
Would have liked to see where it was going, not where it had been.
It goes to Pittsburgh
Thanks to all. Was a spur of the moment thought and the conductor said there was no problem doing it. I like the fact that I was able to get some shots of the old style train signals before they were all changed out.
This is one of the best videos on youtube! Thanks very much for posting it!
Horseshoe Curve is at 11:17, thank me later.
You have to turn off software image stabilization if you don't want your vids to look like acid trips :/
What a wonderful video! When the train passed the curve itself, I felt that the scenery just became all the more splendid. And I loved the sequence through the tunnel! The whole clip was marvellous thank you for sharing! All the very best and greetings from the UK David
God bless the UK!!!
That was a good video! Thank-you Sir.
Nice video. If watch the rails, it must have been a warm day, they were ribbony.
I take that train as far as Lewistown Pa. I love the ride and scenery
From Pittsburgh or New York?
Nice vid, but you didn't mention passing Cresson at 25:53 +/- oh, and when #43 is on NS trackage it becomes the 07T. Thanks for posting I enjoyed it, been around the curve many times.
you can see where the forth track was that deep depression on the right of video.
Very nice video. Thanks for posting it.
Too bad it wasn't from the HE!
Sorry so long. Yes that would have made a bucket list come true.
What's the HE?
Head end. The locomotive end of the train.
