So Maggie what’re your thoughts on Unicorn Academy season 2? I throughly enjoyed it I like the new lore that felt consistent with the show’s universe and I really liked the development for the other characters like Layla, Rory and especially Valentina which really does show that this series has way more competent writers than Miraculous Ladybug…. The finale I’ll admit felt a bit rushed though granted it wasn’t as bad as other certain finales obviously and if we don’t get a third season the series I feel ends pretty satisfyingly.

I can totally picture this happening. Sophia may be headstrong, but she’s down to earth. She’s known love & had a close-knit family so she can recognise it. Adrien is a dreamer & a hopeless romantic. He’s been homeschooled all his life, lives with a distant father & lost his mother at a young age so he can only preserve what love is through books or movies. Sophia gives the love-struck kitten a lesson in recognising that fairytale love is not the same as true love. Perhaps he will find it in someone who sees Adrien for the boy he is rather than the hero mask. Absolutely love it.🥰 ❤❤❤

Having watched Unicorn Academy I think Sophia is a good enough character (granted I didn’t particularly like how harsh and gaslighty she was to Ava towards the end of season 1 though thankfully it’s not even nearly as bad as Marinette) and I do think she’s a good and better pick for Adrian. As for the rest of Unicorn Academy, the premise is cute yet intriguing and the characters are likable (and so far at least it’s one of the few shows where I don’t really ship any of the characters again at least so far) even Valentina has her good moments and looks like she’s gonna have a decent character arc (something that Miraculous of course somehow wasn’t able to do with Chole.)
