How Does the VA Test for Tinnitus!?
Hey folks! Today, we're diving into the buzzing world of tinnitus-sometimes called the "sound of silence," but way more annoying. Whether you say "tinnitus" or "tinnitus," it's all good, just like arguing over "tomato" or "to-mah-to."
I'll share my personal journey with this relentless ringing in my ears and how the VA’s Progressive Tinnitus Management program can help. This program offers strategies to manage tinnitus, even though there’s no magical cure. From using white noise to noise generators and specialized hearing aids, there are various ways to cope with the sound.
We’ll also discuss how tinnitus might affect your sleep and what you should know for compensation evaluations. Remember, being honest about your symptoms is crucial. Tinnitus can manifest as ringing, buzzing, or other sounds, and your experience is unique to you.
Join me as we explore how to deal with tinnitus and the resources available to help you manage it.

VA Disability: The 55 Year Rule!
Переглядів 5 тис.Місяць тому
Alright folks, let's break down the VA disability 55-year-old rule. The VA regularly checks up on veterans with disability ratings every two to five years, which can lead to changes in benefits. However, some ratings are protected, meaning they can't be downgraded, like the 10-year and 20-year rules. Specifically, the 55-plus rule generally prevents rating reductions for veterans over 55, but i...

This is the problem. I personally spent my career avoiding medical care because it made soldiers look bad during my time. 93-17. Some of my injuries were in my record but most were not. Until 2010 or so any mental health complaint would get your security clearance suspended. Now I’m fighting to survive on just my pension because I’m old and conditions worsen. It’s a total goat fuck

So, NOTHING HAS BEEN HIDDEN! Why sensationalise the headline? Just state VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION WHEN FILING NEW OR FOLLOW-UP CLAIMS. In fact the VA hides ZERO, everything you need to know about claims and how the VA processes them can be found at VA.gov or in the Code of Federal Regulations.

I was rated at 53 years with all my conditions being “static”. However, there are people I speak to that says the VA could re-examine me even after the so-called 55 years. It’s all confusing and if true, the term “P&T” is a monomer. Great advice and any comment on my comment is appreciated in advance. APTTMHY

Right now i am 10 percent for open heart surgery; but I am fighting for more since my condition has worsened from my original claim. FYI: MGUS is obtained years ago from the toxic water I drank at Camp Lejeune. It is extremely frustrating and sometimes I wish I never knew about these VA benefits near the end of my life.
