(this is 2EZ btw) my all time favorite Gundam series is the OVA 08th MS Team, particularly anything from Universal Century is PEAK because they actually portray mobile suits and other various units like war machines (as UC is very war and politics-centric) and none of that annoying beam spamming seen in other shows like gundam seed (extremely overrated)

Let me start by saying that my favourite Gundam series or most of my fellow Singaporean first love to Gundam, has always been Gundam SEED series. It usually aired on TVs and UA-cam during the early 2000s era, when its popular. What captivates me for this SEED series is the depth of character set upon the main character, Kira Yamato, who once was a meek personality that turns out to be the strongest pilot to ever exist hence nicknamed, "Kira Jesus Yamato". What gravitated me, towards this series is that, I am that meek person myself when I was younger and the Mechs that were introduced was amazing. Story plot of this series has its ups and downs, with its first season, being unarguably epic with its ending (no spoilers). However, SEED Destiny.. has its downfall due to character development of a new main character of Shinn Asuka. It felt, he was force to be the new lead but failed miserably. But the mech line-up though, during this season, were the most iconic for this series. This is where my love of the Freedom Gundam is eminent, where many new Gundam was introduced the Freedom made its appearance on both the main series. Many can agree the Strike Freedom is a far superior machine and it is the successor to the Freedom and now appeared on the 3rd installment of the SEED Freedom movie. The Freedom has always shown Kira's superior piloting skills in raw form. Where the latter just made Kira into God mode. I can't speak much of its new movie that just recently aired since I haven't watched it yet. But, I'll be watching it as soon as it hits on theaters in the following weeks here in Singapore. Overall, this Gundam SEED series to summarize, always be part of nostalgia and also became a revolutionary start of Gunpla kits. And the fan base here in the SouthEast Asia has always have high regard for Gundam SEED series.

My favourite gundam series right now is the manga Gundam Wing Endless Waltz; Glory of the losers, because ver. Ka wing series just looks good imo, also, the story is more fleshed out in the manga

I agree with you. My life is very similar, I run a company that takes up most of my time during the day. The most important thing is to find a balance between family and work. What is left I spend on gunpla. Of course, there is not much of it, but I try to use it as best as I can, I get what I can from the model, I learn a lot even though I haven't built many of them. Great Video! I really like the irony here, that the "snob" always talks about "limiting yourself" while he is the one with a limited point of view. I for myself like to push my boundries and try and learn new stuff while building, but never ever would I force my point of view on other people. I really think people need to open thier minds and accept, that not everyone is willing to paint and customize, but to collect, pose,take photos ,do with thier gunpla what makes them happy and so on.
