I did get the Mainspring housing from Springfield, but i used Apollo grip safety, I had to fit it.

I replaced spring and follower with Atlas Internals, it's working now 👍

@@Average_Joe_Arms nice, I’m looking towards buying a Apollo 11. I’m stuck between it, the prodigy, and the platypus. All in a similar price range but cheaper is always nice ya know. How do you think it compares to most budget 2011’s? If you have experience with those two at all, how do they compare. Especially in a ccw situation

@itzLifted Platypus is probably the best but alot more expensive and wait times are in months now. I have the new prodigy Comp 4.25" and Me and my girl prefer shooting the Apollo . All 3 are good options .

It has to be perfectly lined up , make sure you loctite the threaded barrel and the set screws, if it loosens up at all it will hit the dust cover / frame , it happened to my 1st range trip , I have a scratch on frame . I hadn't put loctite on barrel threads . Hope that helps .

No, the plate makes it pretty tall.

@Gun_God1 i don't think so, friends have tried without any luck , it's super cheap like 10 bucks for Springfield housing , and the internals do fit.

@Average_Joe_Arms yep, can confirm now, it doesn't fit. I will order the springfield one. I did run into another issue though. With the Prodigy grip the magazine binds. The front of the magazine hits the very front of the of the frame. Gotta work some things out apparently 😅

I had issues with stock sear spring so I replaced it with Wilson Combat bullet proof sear , Atlas Trigger, EGW slide stop & Magwell , Dawson precision toolless guide rod, Holosun 507Comp, Streamlight Tlr1. Should have a 5,000 rd review next week 👍
