@Chilimayo_ You probably touched the game files before. Go to your config file, windows client, right click it, properties, and make sure it is not on read only. If not, launch the game, stay in main menu, put everything to epic/on, click apply, click restart, and wait for the game to restart itself do not touch your pc Tell me if its good

I’m sorry i don’t understand what you’re talking about.. If you have any problems with the game, try verifying game files, check if your antivirus is causing any problems (try disabling it before launching the game), try re install the game completely using revo-uninstaller (for a clean re install).. For your PC, if you just want to buy a whole pc, or just a graphic card, or even a monitor, it depends a lot of things.. For NVIDIA, In general, if you want to play in 4k in the future, you will need 3080/3090/4080/4090 In 2k you can go lower with 3070/4070, and in 1080p you can even use 3060/4060 (Not counting the TI or super etc.. which are just the same but a little but better)

@ what I’m talking about is my pc not letting me into the game. I've tried so many times to join and play on evrima but ever since some update it kept telling me (Directx 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.) Do you know a way for me to fix that by any chance?

@@Bothofoneperson Yeah !! Do this : go into steam library > right click the isle > properties > launch options > somewhere here you can add a command and you need to add the command "-dx12" as simple as that (without the " of course)👍

@@bautistasalomon4319 Yes ! Although if you have a GSync monitor vsync is useless, and if you don’t have one vsync is mostly bad for inout lag, so i do recommend keeping it off for everyone to test, and if you get screen tearing THEN you fan turn it on 😁

@@dkaya26 just know that gaming and computer speaking, no matter the game you play (the isle or anything else) you should always play games in fullscreen, with the same resolution as your monitor. If you want to keep your 4k monitor, you will need a graphic card capable of supporting 4k gaming. For amd i have no idea, but for nvidia you will need 3080/4080 or higher. I do recommend you to wait if you wanna buy a new graphics card as new ones both for amd and nvidia will come out in like a month so prices of old ones will go down

@ when around a group of players is normal, it’s just the isle being awfully optimized. But do you use dlss ? If not if you can you need to use it, if you don’t have it put the 3d resolution slider at like 60 and tell me what it does to you. It should help !! Also put the settings i recommendded, with shadows on medium instead of high, and texture depends on the vram your graphics card got

@RoccoBP even tho the settings increase fps greatly i still have issues with dlss on, my screen sometimes gets smaller and goes to small square in the upper left corner and glitches back to normal sometimes. Its really annoying when i fight someone. I hope you can help with this aswell

Yes ! It’s an unfortunate issue with dlss right now because of The Isle, you need to disable it… if you disable it and really need fps you can then use the 3D resolution slider, starting at 80 and going either higher or lower depending on if you want more or less fps 👍

FSR was in the game before, but they removed it from the settings menu couple of time ago (idk why). It is still in the game tho, you can go into the game files and activate it manually.. but no result guaranteed. I'm sure devs will put it back into the settings menu soon, reason why i talked about it in the video 😁

You will need to Enable Physics Foliage in the Gameplay Settings (where manual alt attack or auto show chat is) but be careful as some people reported memory bugs with this feature activated! 💜

Like i said it's all about preferences ! Some people play the isle to "tryhard" and pvp, some people just like it for the experience and interact with people ! 😄

It actually doesn't ! DLSS, like explained in the video, will actually put the game in a lower resolution (example 720p) and will upscale the pixels to match your monitor resolution, that's why it will give more fps to most people. What you are talking about is Frame Generation, used both with DLSSFG and FSRFG, this technology will use AI tu put "fake" frames between your "real" frame and boost, almost double your FPS.

@ottoes8098 Motion blur basically adds blurriness to your screen every time your camera or your character moves. Many people just don’t like that effect, reason why i recommended to turn it off. But if you like that, you can test yourself and see what fits you best. Don’t forget to restart your game everytime you change something in the settings as the game doesn’t fully apply anything unless restarted completely 😄

If not next time you launch your game, do not join any server stay in the main screen, then in the settings resets everything. When asked to restart click yes, wait for the game to restart without touching anything on your pc, and then go back to settings when main screen appears and use the recommended settings i gave in the video. Tell me what’s up after all of this 👍

​@@RoccoBP no I didn't touch files. I used the recommended settings except for 3d resolution I figured out it can work only on 60. Testing it on official and not official servers. And I don't have to change them anymore. Thanks!

Like said in the video tho you could use the 3D resolution slider if you need more performance, trying at like 80 first and going up and down depending on if you need more or not 😁

@@Zumwell75 literally impossible. Unless you were playing on everything low 360p before. Don.t forget to restart your game everytime you do 1 change even a small one because the isle is bugged a lot

@@KeeganKraftt the DLSS glitch/tearing is caused by a bad implementation of DLSS in The Isle thanks to the devs, it is a The Isle problem not an unreal engine, server or anything else problem. It has been acknowledged by the dev team long ago but still hasn’t been resolved, it can appear almost everytime for some people, or never for someone else.
