How do they handle vs normal modern cars today

I have a 2004 Signature, and I consider it the best driving most comfortable car I ever owned. I also have a 06 C6 Corvette, and I like the Lincoln better.

So well constructed witn great visibility, simple and logical analog controls and gauges, and a 5 speed manual. Cars are just too overly complicated and expensive now with no soul.

Had one years ago; babied it to nearly 400,000 miles - did all the work myself. My car and my hobby! The cruise control was exceptionally cool and clever; it's tied into the vaccum system. Setting the "speed" sets the vacuum level. It would actually activate the brakes going downhill and the accelerator going up hill to maintain the speed.

Absolutely horrible driver, but nobody really reviewed this car, so still informative.

Price tag?

I had that EXACT CAR... 1979 300D naturally aspirated ... 77 HP... 4 spd auto that started in 2nd gear... there was a "LOW' if you needed it...$900+ worth of poly-line vacuum work to get the door locks, engine shutoff and HVAC working... 9 Quarts of oil... mechanical fuel injection.... Dual Piston Caliper Brakes... 90 lb Driver's Seat with 3 mechanical adjustments... Ugh! .....Exquisitely understated... Built like a beautiful tank... thick sheet metal body parts.... Battery the size of a small suitcase (22:1 Compresssion)... sold it for $2,500 in 2002.
