Is that amount of traffic normal? And do most people drive fairly cautiously during weather like this? In the video, they all seem to be driving sensibly from what I can see. I plan to move there within the next few years and the driving situation during winter is a bit intimidating.

Your video shot me down a rabbit hole., when you drove past Providence Hospital , It made me wonder if AK has an instate medical school, and that shot a link to AK ER doctor pay $325-$424K a year , then that linked to some 13 year old kid from CA who pulled a doogie Howser graduated HS at 12 and is a junior AZ state at 13 and she has been accepted for med school at the university of Alabama Birmingham next year. From a 4 hour video to that.
