Did you figure out your water source?
I also am in North Georgia more on the North Carolina Tennessee line! Today I am planting curly mustard and turnips and spinach and kale. I forgot my cabbage.😂 Excellent video. Thank you for the tips.
Glad see this video. I have 5 lots in that area, can tell close to your land as they are just next to Rio grand. Just visited last Oct. The previous visit was even 6 years ago. Please let me know your latest update on your land if any. Best!
I could sure use advice on buying land in the valley. North or south of Alamosa? Paved or dirt road? Existing infrastructure or undeveloped land?

May I ask if you still have this and if you still like it and if you had any troubles with it. We're looking at a used one and this has just about everything we went and will be a upgrade over our Jayco or so we hope. Thank you for posting.
was the easy see veil window, in attendance?
I didn't see them (pardon the pun) !!
You are awesome Cameron! I love seeing you at the show, it's always so fun for me when you force Cory to get in on it... Thank you for being so kind to us.
@walterchapman32 Always a pleasure to see you guys !!
What drone do you have?
Angela Thank you for the question, I have a DJI Phantom 3 and a pro 4 , see you on the next one !
Lol chickens will eat the damn plastic they don’t care
How many chickens does it 5ake to open a blueberry container? All of them but they still will not taste like blueberries!

😂😂😂😂
So much fun ! 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 love it @offgridwithcameron&julie
Very practical perspective, thx for sharing your experiences.
@secondhandsongs thanks for the feedback we really appreciate you ! see you on the next one !
Did it work? How did the winter go? Where did you get the info about 1x spring 1x summer 2x autumn?
Something must have worked because we still have healthy zero mite count colonies and we are up to 19 colonies !
@@offgridforbeginnerswithcam5256 yes!! I love it!
as your 399th subscriber AND 5th viewer of this video and veteran chicken raiser and homesteader.....that coop should last 2 years if not 3. It will last longer but will warp quite a bit. You should note it's construction and build another one out of pallet wood or cedar pickets for A LOT LESS MONEY :)
Thanks for the feedback we appreciate you ! thats probably what I'll do when I need to , see you on the next one !
Most tractor supply coops I’ve seen I’ve been total crap. I hope you enjoy yours. I hope it’s better than the ones I’ve seen.
Thanks for the feedback we appreciate it ! I guess time will tell with the longevity of the coop ! see you on the next one ! 👍👍👍
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very helpful, hope you get a lot more views/subscribers
@caineco420 thanks for the feedback we appreciate you ! see you on the next one !

Cute ! ❤
Congrats on catching them! Congrats! Set the box next to the swarm spot so the rest will find it and also go back into the parent hive and remove all but 2 queen cells. My bees typically go 80' up a pine tree when they swarm. I don't catch many if I let them swarm. Again, Congrats!
Thanks for the advice Tony will do .
It happens! You might want to tear open all but the 2 best queen cells in each split. That way, they can focus on feeding those two really well to make beautiful queens, rather than 11 sub-par queens.
Hey Tony hope you're well, the one split that had already capped the cells in 48 hours I split again using resources from the big hives, but that is great advice, Ill check tomorrow, next few weeks when I split again I shall remember that ! thanks man !👍
@@offgridforbeginnerswithcam5256 Very good! For really nice spare Qcells, I will sometimes shave them off with a razor and graft them onto another brood frame and make more splits. Now is the premium time, as long as you have drones. They will benefit from the whole flow and will grow fast. I have about 2 weeks until I can start making splits. My drones are capped, but not emerged yet. Once they emerge, we'll be off to the races.
00:00:57 Next we need a video on growing your channel despite algorithms
Cameron, Why not do a couple of quick "tilt inspections" to see if there are swarm cells? Have you been seeing drones yet? You are MUCH better to make a split rather than letting them swarm. There is only a chance you will catch them, and even if you do, you still need to go into the original box and remove all but the 2 best queen cells, or you may have multiple after-swarms, reducing the original hive down to almost nothing. Pulling the queen, 2 -3 frames of brood, the attached nurse bees and some food frames will give you awesome results. Move them at least 50 feet away. They will draw comb like you have never seen. Leave 2 good Q cells in the original hive, they will prosper too. A good split will grow incredibly fast, if there is good flow. You can give them a little sugar syrup, too. Either way, watch them and have a nuc super ready to go! They will go from 2 frames to 10 frames incredibly fast. Then you can put them in a regular box if you want. I've never tried dead bees as a lure. Interesting thought. The best lure is old brood comb from a deadout hive, if you have any. Add some Lemongrass on a Qtip is a very good combination. I hope your bees don't swarm while you are gone, and hope you have a great conference. Come back and give us some vids about inspecting for swarm cells, checking for laying space and putting splits into nuc boxes. Those will be interesting to see. The season is here early. Glad to see your continued success. -Tony
Hey Tony, hope you're well, I haven't cracked the deep box propolis because I knew we were going to have a big cold spell ( last night and tonight) I intend doing that in the next few days and based on the early spring here in north GA, im going to start some 2 frame splits and yes seeing drones 👍
Our seeds just came in the mail. Not sure what Elizabeth ordered though.
@628DirtRooster Hey man hope you guys are well !, yeh this is just our first go round I was late this year, will be starting on flowers once this lot have sprouted !
Nice, you guys must live close to us
Thanks ! We are just off 142 west of San Luis near the Rio Grande river
