How is the sound quality with CarPlay? Compared to aux cable

I re-wired my '61 bus with a harness from WireWorld, and l'm so glad l did. The wires all are color-coded so they replace the original wiring EXACTLY. Now, everything works exactly as it should. No more chasing electric gremlins! The old wires were stiff and very brittle and had TONS of resistance. So happy l did it.

Just installed this on my 13 b8.5 s4. Thanks for the video as it helped me get through the install. FYI, the carlinkit device and rsnav devices are the same - the only difference is carlinkit includes all the necessary tools and adapters you would otherwise have to purchase separately. Aside from that, you can watch rsnav video tutorials as well to help you with your install. Installation was easy. I enabled aux audio through the hidden green menu. Some advice - I would attach all the cables to the mmi first, then snap it back in. Then I would attach the rest of cables to the carplay box and fit it into the console. Last I would connect the cable to the ac/heater controls. Doing it in this order helped get everything cleaned up the easiest. I was able to run the usb cable between the ac controls and the ashtray. On the left there is a slight hole that the usb cable can fit through. I was not able to order the item from Amazon since it sold out, so we ended up getting it from the manufacturer in China. Took about 2 weeks to get here. Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me, Ive been using this for a solid couple months but now for some odd reason when I comnect my phone the carplay doesn’t display but the main screen of the piggyback device does?

You can also just mount a tablet below the stock screen, and have any auto app you want, plus movies, skype, music, nav, phone, games, etc., and still have your stock screen and all it's functions. Bluetooth dongle on the obd2 port to connect to the cars system, to get all readings like boost pressure, battery voltage, temp, oil pressure, diagnostic codes, system logging, rpm, 1/4 mile times, etc, and connect to your MMI via bluetooth for audio from the tab to the stereo system.
