It's great! In the US, they come standard with Bose systems. I know in other markets they do not. Good treble, good bass. I don't see any reason to go for an aftermarket system unless you live outside of the US.

Solid choices! I actually was looking into a F30 340i before considering the R, in automatic as well. But after a bit, I knew I needed the Type R and didn't mind having a manual daily haha Teach the wife!

@@mendozaolives Do ittt. Dyno tunes wake up cars so much. Cold air intakes will be like 5x as loud as the drop filter, as well. Even just little blips of throttle in neutral will almost sound like a blow off valve.

@@mendozaolives no, it will only limit u to 3.5k rpms at standstill regardless. for you to be able to rev it to redline the car has to be moving. i have an FL5 myself and do this plenty of times

@ dude and I have so much positive equity on my current loan. I could easily put $14k down just from my trade in. I could put a few more grands and walk away with a new Type R for 30k. I’m married so I need to convince the wife lol (she doesn’t care about cars 😵‍💫)

I will admit, it is a bit stiff, maybe I've become numb to it over the past month, but I really haven't found myself minding it all that much. Unfortunately, cars will just continue to get more and more expensive. Look at the Supra; declining in sales because it was simply too expensive for this market, but people are still buying it. I'd still 100% recommend the FL5 if you can find one for MSRP.

Idk man I paid MSRP for mine. And in comfort mode it’s not stiff compared to any other sports car.

@ $47,145. They wanted to add another $4k worth of “options package” but I refused. Usually around the holidays dealerships don’t get a lot of business so I had a bit of leverage in the negotiation. Got lucky and two separate dealerships had the same car and I was able to get them to fight over the sale. I got lucky, this probably wouldn’t have happened last year

@@ROVA00 Got mine for MSRP as well. Albeit, I paid for warranties as I plan on keeping the car til it blows up on me; I’d do it again in a heart beat.

nice! i get around 260-270 miles to the tank, which is one of my gripes about this car’s ability to be a daily; small fuel tank!!

@mendozaolives yup haha, im at the pump every other day 😭 Though even when i had an integra a spec, which did get better fuel economy, i was still filling up often.
