FYI - if you time it the first two fish were out of the water for under 3mins - both covered in water on the mat and rested in the margins prior to filming. As you can see from the weather. It’s far from hot. The second two were even less time. I run a fish farm and theres no concerns with larger carp being out of the water for such short periods of time. They spend longer fighting than 3’minutes on a rod and line which is far more stressful in my opinion. But I will bare it in mind 👍

I stopped fishing them after Covid as during that time they were packed anytime of the week. I went down for a week session and spent two nights bivvies up in the car park because I couldn’t get a swim anywhere. I believe it’s calmed down abit now but they have way too many members and there’s lots of snide swim rotation going on. Especially on the lakes with the real big fish in

We both left because after Covid it got so busy you couldn’t get on fish and the lakes were rammed. It might of quietened down now, look on the Farnham Facebook page and you should be able to gauge it from that. There’s a few groups that are decent

Thanks a lot for watching. 👍 there’s a lot of good waters in the south of France. Limousin and the Alps are areas where carp anglers tend to frequent. Best way to search is to search the region you are going in and use the browser google chrome. That way you can translate the French webpages into other languages to help you find the right info 👍

Hi mate I didn’t have any problems leaving the car over the other side I was probably about 500metres away from it But it was in view. I don’t think it’s a rough area it’s for holidays really. You’ll be fine bud

bald vale thank you for watching and for your kind words. You are allowed to night fish in France on any public lake that permits night fishing. All you need to buy is a French fishing licence (carte de Peche) and then you make sure you are fishing a water that allows Peche nuit. 👍

Tom Silver this was filmed in 2019 tigers were permitted and being used by most of the anglers. If that’s now the case it’s a new rule. Ignore them at your peril

Which rule states that Tom? I cant see it in the handbook. Unless its a new rule for 2020. In which case I havent received the handbook yet

Ive checked the rules and asked on Farnham social media. Tigers are NOT banned.

Just to confirm I’ve checked with the relevant people Tigers were and are still allowed 👍
