Use the Easy Off then after 30 minutes, pour bleach over it and baking soda. Keep it moist for about an hour. Then scrub it. Put on mask and gloves. Works very well.

Careful with regular Easy Off. It's ingredient is lye, aka sodium hydroxide. When you get it on your fingers, it feels slippery. That's because it's dissolving the outer layer of skin.

You are supposed to leave it on all night. and no need for the magic eraser.

I can’t stand doing dishes and cleaning my house but for some reason I love doing that at other people’s homes or at church. I can’t even count how many dishes, serving platters, crock pots, coffee urns, etc. I’ve washed at church. I usually end up picking up dirty glasses and throwing away empty beer bottles/cans at parties I’m invited to. It relaxes me.

One lady used kaboom soaking paper towels and leaving on all night. Thats just bleach so ... To be honest these treads are a menace. We shouldn't need all these chemicals & scrubbing to clean a bath huh. But thank you for the video x

Don't use easy off oven cleaner on a fiberglass tub.

I tried this last night, worked great. I used the yellow can of Easy Off, let it sit for 5 mins, and it worked wonders. It removed a layer of hardened, brown stuff that I probably pressed onto the tub, over a long time, by standing in the shower. Came out white as Jesus' robe during the Transfiguration. This is now my go to cleaner for the tub.

I use easy off in the blue can myself. Spray it on let it sit for 15 minutes then go back with a Mr Clean magic sponge to scrub it off. Works like a charm for me. Happy cleaning : )

Im seeing this done a lot. I personally would never use Magic Erasers on any surface with a slick finish...it strips that slippery smooth finish off and then dirt's and grime literally sticks to your tub (now you have to scrub all the time). If your finish is gone then have at it but if not, use a microfiber cloth. And this goes for your stove as well....I learned this 10 years ago! Keep your smooth finish and wipe dow your tub daily or more often....just don't let it get this bad.

For anyone trying this, lay some cling film over the top. It traps the oven cleaner and makes it stronger.

Use the green scrubbers. Works great!! Also be careful. I didnt realize I had gotten some oven cleaner on my arm and went to get something out of my freezer.........burned my skin pretty bad.

I tried this after watching several videos & it really worked well. I was amazed after trying so many other options without half the success of using oven cleaner. I just used the Heavy Duty version of Easy-Off. Some videos suggest using the one that turns blue. What I used was perfect. I waited 45min & used a regular old bathroom scrub brush with hardly any effort. I am amazed! I'm also amazed by the lack of safety in these videos. I can not stress enough the importance of having good ventilation. Open a window AND have a fan going. In every video I watched, not a single person was wearing a mask, gloves or eye protection. Yikes!

What's the difference between the blue and the yellow can

I have used easy off for several years to clean my tub. I went through a period when I was working a ton of over time and didn't have time to clean at home very much. Soooo the tub got pretty ugly and grimmy. I tried all the usual stuff and nothing worked. One day I thought "what the hell" and I tried Easy Off. I sprayed the tub really good, waited about 20 minutes and the grim wipped away perfectly easy. I washed it out and it looked brand new. I have an old cast iron tub glazed with porcelan I think. Another plus...Easy Off is cheaper than the speciality stuff.

It would probably work better if you let it sit for awhile, before scrubbing.
