very true when I was with ywam it was the same thing many persuing their own dreams...it was so difficult. I was there and saw it with my own eyes I totally wanted to say this back in 2001-2005 when I was with ywam.. I went to Mogolia, India and Fiji through Ywam. I did three schools with Ywam and was a team leader as well. I saw so much that must have grieve the spirit of God.
