On this channel, I will be watching movies with a whole host of people.
First, there is my dad. He is one of the reasons I created this channel. My dad never watches movies. Bourne Identity may be the first movie we ever watched together in September of 2022. Its likely the first movie that he's watched for a good 20 years (barring Christmas movies he's seen 100 times). To my great pleasure, he has agreed to watch movies with me.
Second, but not in my heart, is my kid. She and I watch things together all the time. Here, we are exploring some of those bits of weirdness that connect us so much.
Third, I will be exploring some things that take me out of my comfort zone for solo watches.
Finally, my friends. I inflict bad movies on them. We watch the latest horror classics. And anything else that comes into my brain.
I'm happy to have you watch along with us.

Late for Halloween, but early for next year. I love it when non horror TV shows do a horror, or at least spooky episode. Best when its just out of the blue. These are the ones that people reminded me of.

Awesome and fun, but why blur it?
When I do reaction videos, I try to limit how much of the actual video I show. So, I show what we are reacting to, then blur the part while we actually react. I find it more respectful to the original creators.
@@wewatchwithchad That's good, and also haven't seen it before, I would anyway prefer to see the whole thing as some haven't seen these old videos, and it would be annoying I think, I thought it was a bit annoying and I have seen most of them. I thought about quitting and looking for an old video compilation or something. It's just me, otherwise your reaction and the idea was good. Just some constructive criticism from me what I think.
I loved sitting in the rafters at the old Winnipeg Arena next to the organist ❤
Young people talk too much by themselves. Everyone wants to hear from people who have seen it for the first time. He makes the important observation that the motorcycle has a personality of its own.
I was wondering if he would like it with all the dark parts in it. Oh y’all should watch Prey! It does have some visually dark moments though, but I think they do an okay job of making sense of what’s happening.
I have now seen Prey. I may have him watch it, but no hurry
So everything Ofelia went through was IN FACT REAL!!! She was INDEED the Princess Moana, who got lost after leaving the underworld and being blinded by the sun, forgetting who she was... She likely wandered the Earth for CENTURIES, while her parents had set up a series of tests for her to regain her memory of the "underworld"... Don't think of her as "Ofelia", think of her as "the spirit of Moana"... The faun tells her when she refuses to get her brother that "all memory shall fade", indicating she's done this SEVERAL TIMES before, and FAILED... Killing herself to save her little brother was the FINAL TEST for her to return to the underworld and regain her memory. Then she lands in Ofelia, and is actually able to COMPLETE the tasks, and regain her memory, to rejoin her parents who are king and queen of the underworld. The King is her ACTUAL father BTW, NOT THE CAPTAIN!! There's just WAYYYY too many things that couldn't have happened unless IT WAS ALL REAL!! The main things are the mandrake root, and the chalk... If it's not real, WHERE THE FUCK DOES SHE GET THE MANDRAKE ROOT FROM??? Why did the mandrake root heal her mother, then when they kill it she INSTANTLY starts bleeding again... Or the chalk that she uses to escape that locked room to go get her brother. There are just TOO MANY THINGS, that "prove" that it's real... Even at the end they say "you may see traces of Princess Moana's passing, if you know where to look"... As it zooms in on the flower... The flower which was blooming on the DEAD TREE WHERE SHE KILLED THE FROG!!! After the frog was dead, the tree was no longer poisoned and could grow again!! She even mentioned it before killing the frog!! She said, "why are you growing so fat eating all these bugs while the tree dies"...
Let’s just put it out there, this movie is about the Flyers in the 70s. Awesome movie. Paul Newman said it was the most fun movie he ever made.
You must have put a lot of time into this video. I love the topic too, nice job. 🙂

One of the most genuine movies ever made, of any genre. Written by Nancy Dowd. Go Habs Go!
can we know why that old dude is laughing all way long ? lmao
Now the Russian army is doing the same thing to civilians in Ukraine
Wrong. In reality it is straight opposite. I am from Mariupol, Ukraine, and I know this war from inside.
@@linaa3469 I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me about the war from your perspective.
Fun Fact that was Real Pork Blood in this movie, the Klaus Actor say it in a interview.
This movie might be Soviet but is way less propaganda then most American war movies. Something can be Soviet without being evil, the world ain't black and white.
15:58 “Watch out Mickey” :3
Hello, if you don’t mind, can you do a movie reaction on a movie called, 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Adventure/Drama (1992). It stars Gérard Depardieu, Siqourney Weaver, Armand Assante. It portrays a version of the travels to the New World by the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and the effect this had on indigenous peoples. Directed by Ridley Scott. Thank you, Chris.

This is the worst
thanks for watching
1. The little boy, Billy is played by Joe King. Stephen's son. 2. There IS a CREEPSHOW II also by King. Same format but different stories. ANOTHER all star cast again. 3. King does cameos in many of his movies. This is my favorite performance by him. 4. Tom Atkins/Billy's dad played Rehme in "Escape from New York". 5. My favorite story is "The Crate".
Yeah, its hard not to love Fluffy

Great vid! BabyCat is so much fun, I would love to see y’all talk about it. XD
The director of this film was the kid in real life and tells his story as a child in Belarus during WW2, and what he witnessed. This movie doesn't show all of the horror that the Germans perpetrated in the Soviet Union. The Russian combatants in this movie represent Soviet partisans who fought against German forces behind the front lines.

good choice
That was fun. I’m on the Range in MN. Enjoyed it.

Classic!
It is,indded , a safty-video...
Staplerfahrer Klaus is a common name in germany, its "cult"...
Karloff did appear in 2 Abbott and Costello movies: Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Abbott and Costello Meet The Killer.
I've seen the film a few times. Watching your video, I noticed for the first time that the protagonist committed seppuku with the Iyi clan's ancestral katana. This action is as significant as throwing down the Iyi armor and foreshadowed by breaking Yazaki Hayoto's katana. Also, it was very fun seeing you and your Dad experience and talk about such a great movie.
The 1st one is absolutely THE BEST
Top 5 comedy for me 😂👍
10:16 best line of the movie
Its a good song.
Love this movie! :D The knight was definitely distracting Death at the end, so that the family could get away, hence giving him a 'purpose', like he said when confessing in the church.
Wir haben nen bomben Humor 😂🤘
How do you even split a car? 23:00 Well, Gaear Grimsrud (Peter Stormare) will not only show you how to _split_ the car but also his partner-in-crime Carl Showalter (Steve Buscemi).
Thank you for posting this
Your dad looks very relaxed while watching the godfather of the Zombie genre.😊 Respect! Greetings from Austria!🇦🇹👋
Nice reaction. Here‘s some context. This bit is actually a parody of a well-known type of safety awareness videos that were prominent in the 70s and 80s in Germany. The most prominent one was a road safety campaign that would show a new short video once a week just before prime time on TV. The narrator of „Klaus“ was the same one as in the popular road safety videos on weekly TV. That‘s why it worked so well for Germans. We really did think it was the real deal: a serious and professional safety video. And, boy, did it escalate quickly! And yes, „Klaus“ is over the top, so much in fact that this parody actually became the real thing. Over time it was shown during actual safety trainings. Businesses would show it to employees. When I started work in the 90s, we office guys had to cross the plant’s work roads to get to our workplaces. Even us white collar folks, we *all* were shown the „Klaus“ video during onboarding, directly after the real, actual safety presentation. Well, it worked, at least for me. Those trucks or fork lifts never ran me over. (Edit: typos corrected)
I love it. That narrator context is amazing.
Just watch "Electrician Horst". It's not quite as funny though.
Someone else mentioned it. I think I'll definitely have to give it a go. Always fun to discover something I'd never heard of. Thanks.
@@wewatchwithchad Good Luck 👍
People always think we germans have no humour. No! We just use it sparcely. You just saw what german humour is like...
