During a routine check of my 1974 Land Rover Series 3, I thought that I would try and make it easier to see the oil level on the dipstick, I have found that the standard dip stick always shows oil on it, even when it is very low. So with a wooden dowel, a knife and a cable tie I have made up a easier to read dip stick for routine checks.
