no need any screwdrivers, but just SLIDE the cover towards the hole where you put the screwdriver... Maybe this something new, but at least this is the way my key card openes, but it's looks the same as on video... just slide.

I just did mine and had the same issues as you - The frame sisn't go in easily, there is a pin on top that you need to place behind the metal pins(you will see it), and then when all done, the lis doesn't open automatically, but gets stuck and needs to be opened by hand. But overall will do the job
