Me too, I'm always a fan of hers. And I love the fact that she's finding her voice and work it out no matter what.

I completely agree with you. This performance was part of Hopefield Animal Sanctuary where Leona is a trustee. So regardless if it was a big stage she would have done it.

@@CaelanBromell19 i know, right? And the negativity is just unbearable. They want her to ruin her voice and do something she simply cannot do the same way because her voice is changing. Why cant they just enjoy that beautiful tone that still shines more magically than ever. Urgh.

Leona does suffer with Hashimoto’s disease which affects her voice, however Leona has adopted a new style of singing, and honestly it’s so beautiful when you hear her live. Leona has proven during her CWL tour that she can still belt.

@CaelanBromell19 I bet she can deliver more, but I think she is preserving her voice. I bet she can belt certainly not like her starting career, but she can do it, and I would like to hear just one song, only one she can do it.

Leona was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. It affects the larynx and the voice. In 2020, Leona did an interview, she discussed that she finds singing in mid range challenging and is working on it. Leona can still access her mid and upper belts but rarely does it. In 2020, and 2022 Leona sang mid and upper belts, but has lost quite a bit of depth. She tends to not push as much to hit powerful belts, and sings with a more lighter tone.

Yes I agree, sometimes her vibrato can be so forced it actually causes vocal wobble. Her vibrato from 2022 has changed, she only uses vibrato at the end of notes rather than at excessive speed
