@ThanatronAssists, you can manually change the position of the camera using UEVR. You need to know how to use the advanced options and be able to attach it using the attach to Pawn option.

Hi, is he running it on a PC? Its streamed via PC to the PICO 4 using Virtual Desktop.

@victorarocho3243, I am playing Ace Combat 7 on the PC using the UEVR mod but also using the PC to PSVR2 adapter (so I am using the PSVR2 headset on the PC). What I was stating is that the VR mode should be on PS5 as standard with the PSVR2 but there is no VR mode currently on the PS5 version of it which is poor show.

Thanks! I'm not sure yet but will have a go. At least in FSX you could swap out the aircraft for one of your choice for a mission but I don't know if you can do that in MSFS2024.

It's dependent on your router. I have an Asus RT-AC86U gaming router. Even though my standard Virgin hub has a good download speed, it doesn't transmit data very well. With the Gaming Router which is WIFI 6, and if its placed in a good location it transmits very smoothly.

@ okay will have to look into a gaming router also are you using link thru the oculus desktop or steam vr?

@@parkspersonal4392 I use Air Link, Sometimes Virtual Desktop and sometimes Steam link.

HI @PinkGirl2242, many thanks. Will have to see what mods I can do as I currently do the hurdles to get in! I've recently purchased a Moza R5 which I am uploading the video shortly as was a mission to get the thing to work, noticably the weight difference is considerable so I've had to add another 10kg to the yaw but most of it is inside tucked by the cushion. I must try the dumbells in a bag as sometimes I get slippage from the Yaw. Happy New Year hun!

I used to be the admin for YawVR forum. I was the one who added bttf the ride experience. Mike and myself decided to upload it for the public to have fun and showcase the potential of Yaw1.

@@PinkGirl2242 That experience was wicked, was trying to get hold of the star tours one to try out. I only acquired the Yaw 1 this year as at the time of launch was beyond my budget. I have now discovered after thinking about your solution to pile on ankle weights at the back on the top of the rest, works well and I only need 8kg when using the car sim peripherals. When using my flight sim gear I only need 4kg so have to unstrap some of that weight.

@TheVRSector You'll need an emergency button that parks the Yaw1. I got stuck almost vertically as the weight on the back and my body shifted. Luckily I had my phone in the shell to park the unit lol. I now have a USB mini key switch that turns off Motionbox in SRS that parks it. I 3d printed an emergency stop keycap for it.

Hi there, there's no mod really, I am just playing it through virtual desktop on a big monitor within the headset. It's a pity no one modded this to work in VR properly.

Hi there, you have to install some additional things, your best bet is to go to the discord channel and look under uevr AC7. You need to use a modified version of UEVR and drag some other files into the install directory.

I have never used the yaw 2 or 3 but am assuming the more DOF the better. The original Yaw which i have has 3dof plus the vibration feature so works a treat.

@aails4492, currently I have Ace Combat on both the PC and my PS5 (although its the ps4 version). Unfortunately you can't use the PSVR2 headset on the PS5 with Ace Combat, that only supports the original PSVR so you have to have the old headset for it to work. The only way to get AC7 working on PC is using the PC adapter and plugging the PSVR2 headset into that which is what I did. It's well annoying.

Hi, I'm not sure if it will work on the Yaw 2, but I just downloaded it from here: forum.yawvr.com/discussion/98/back-to-the-future-the-ride It worked straight away, all I had to do was unzip the files and launch the experience.

I think you can from what I remember, will have to take a look.

The PSVR 2 is good graphically when it works due to the displayport cable, but I hate wires so even though the image is good, I still prefer wireless. Some games though, it doesn't seem to run very well with.

Hi there, I no longer have the pico 4 as I sold it and got a quest 3. If you have artifacting, try turning down the graphic levels a bit, it may help. Also are you using the steam version?

@@TheVRSector The graphic was already to the minimum, the artifacts problems are related to the graphic interface but I already reported the problem to the devs. yes I'm using Steam VR + pico connect

@@FilipNone Have you tried it through Virtual Desktop? Virtual Desktop gives you a lot more settings when combined with the Pico 4.

Hi there, sorry for the late response, been very busy. I'll see if I can do another video, the thing is it might be different for quest 2. I know for example when I had the Pico 4 virtual desktop worked a treat, but with the Quest 3 I've got a mixed opinion as it doesn't work exactly the same.

@@krzyszek1768 If you have a fast wifi 6 router then either a Pico4 or Quest 3 will do the job. It depends how big your budget is. If you don't have a fast router then you will need to the wired route and there are quite a few options. But everybody's eye sight is different so really depends. Some people say Pimax, is really good but I dont have one so cannot comment.

The Yoke does look physically high but there's no where else to mount it unfortunately. When your in VR though it feels fine. Seems to work well as it is though.

Thanks, i use Virtual Desktop and Airlink aswell (not simultaneously). PC specs are : MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, I9- 13900k, 32GB of RAM, RTX 4090 and a Cooler Master 1500watt PSU. Liquid Cooler - Corsair H150i RGB. 2x NVME's 1 @ 1tb and 1@ 2tb - Samung 970 evo M.2 and Samsung 980 M.2.

You have to go to Luke Ross's Patreon site, once you have the mod (he updates it regularly) then you just have to drop his files into the working directory of the game and run the appropriate file that comes with his mod.

@@washingtonmateus8170 I think you have to run it normally intially, then go into the game files, extract Luke Ross's mod there and then double click Real Config or something which will alter the files. Then when you run it again it should work. I think Luke has a guide somewhere.

Hi, it really depends what your budget is and if you want to future proof or not. I would say get a 4000 series GPU whether it be a 4060, 4080 or 4090. A 5000 series will be released shortly so if you have the funds sit tight for that. Any Modern PC can run basic VR (this also varies from what headset your using), the Greater the GPU the better the visuals can be. Just make sure you pair it with a decent CPU. I'm using an i9 -13900k.

There's quite a lot of things that need to be done in order for the wireless USB to work. I had to do alot of googling and trial and error.

For me I just used sim racing studio software and went to games and telemetry and then just launched the game. There is an option in the game to enable telemetry.

Hello, I will try it and see. I have tried other games in the PSVR2 and they don't work as smoothly so I have had to use the Pico 4 Instead. I think its something to do with the resolution.

​@@TheVRSector la verdad llevo unos dias y cada vez me gustan mas. Algunas veces pienso se ve mas claro en pico 4 pero luego cuando cambio me doy cuenta q me gusta mas en psvr2 aun con sus defectos. Ya me diras si consigues q vaya bien de noche yo le tengo q bajar demasiado la resolucion y pierdo nitidez, es una pena. A ver si mejoran.

The vibration is ridiculous! you can't see properly and realsitically unless your silencer was broken from the manifold or suspension shot/tyres your not going to get vibration like that so it's a good thing that you can turn it off otherwise I would of got rid of the yaw. Saying that the telemetry data isn't official so there's probably a way to mod it.

Roto 1 is brilliant, If I manage to sell it then I will see about a Roto Explorer, at the moment space is limited hence something has to go, but if it doesn't sell on the first time listing I'll keep it :).

@Adrian_E_Solis_ Who knows, I would think perhaps it's aimed at people who cannot drive for one reason or another and just want to see what a vehicle could possibly feel like. Could be any reason but there are a few taxi games out there, remember Crazy Taxi in the arcade or on the Sega Dreamcast? as a kid I used to love that stuff because I couldn't drive back then. This is pretty much the same principal but in 2024 so much more life like as opposed to cartoony.

You seem like a lot of fun and clearly don't understand the concept of a game. For most, games are for relaxation & escapism, a sense of freedom, role playing, to chase a reward or challenge etc. Who on earth would want a sweaty human in their personal car and on top of that an increased risk of danger. What's so fun about that? It's just a game that people like for some reason which I wouldn't play cause it seems a lil boring but I understand it's a game, ppl just wanna have fun man. Some people have anxiety and all types of road blocks that prevents them from doing things.
