    The trick is to get one with the Mitsubishi module regardless which brand you go with. The 1994-96 Caprice/Impala, Roadmaster and Fleetwood had the vented version too.

    Hey im coming from your "How to install wheel bearings and seals - Install new Wheel bearings and seals on 4th Gen Fbody." video, you posted about a year ago, at 7:02 in the video you said you bought this tool of amazon, idk if you happen to have a link to amazon page where you bought that? If you do that would be greatly appreicated, me and my dad are working on his 2000 trans am and replacing the axle and the bearing is the last step till shes street ready. Thanks again!

      a.co/d/aagLRuJ Here is a link for the bearing puller. You will also need a slide hammer with a 5/8-inch x 18 thread pitch. Sometimes these links don't work so if it doesn't just type in Rear Axle Bearing Puller Axle Bearing Puller Extractor and there should be a bunch show up on Amazon. You can get everything pretty cheap. Thanks for watching and good luck with the Trans Am.

      Well I wish I had an answer for you. If you followed all the instructions on their website and it won't update there probably isn't much you can do. I am not great at this stuff either, I actually only made the video because I figured some people didn't realize these head units could even be updated.

    If the calliper sliders have rusted just buy a new calliper. If you just clean them up the original rubber boots continue to fail and you’ll be doing the same with job every year 😢

  • @HypocriticYT
    @HypocriticYT 6 днів тому

    I use purple synthetic brake grease on the wheel to rotor mating surface. Prevents corrosion from making a bond, just a thin film and clean both surfaces

  • @HypocriticYT
    @HypocriticYT 6 днів тому

    You can always remove the wheel nuts and then lower the vehicle under control to put some pressure on the wheel, this will break the rust bond.

    I know this is an older post. Hoping to pick a brain or two in here. Noticed that LT2 intake manifold installed. Is it worth it ? Bang for buck? Did you go with a larger TB as well with intake? I have a 21 SS and curious about the LT2 intake with a 95mm TB fed by a Cold Air Inductions CAI. These Speed Eng. Headers with secondary cat delete. Retain NPP factory set up. I thought the factory pipe had a x pipe. My biggest concern is getting a proper tune with the above mentioned parts. In KC area and not sure who to take it to or trust. Is this a good start?

    • @LSxMotorsports2021
      @LSxMotorsports2021 7 днів тому

      Well in my opinion the LT2 intake is a great bang for your buck because it is so much cheaper than anything else you can get for these cars. There are videos on UA-cam with the dyno results. The speed engineering headers and Xpipe are also the best deal there is for these cars atleast it was when we installed them I haven't checked the price recently. You will need a tune if you don't want to have a check engine light on all the time. As for a larger throttle body it would gain a little power but not sure it is worth the cost.....of course I haven't priced one lately but the guy who owns the car in this video was thinking of getting one and I told him it wasn't worth it. This intake with the exhaust and a good tune would definitely feel stronger and sound nasty as hell. And these parts are way cheaper than most and will get it very close to the same amount of power.

    • @LSxMotorsports2021
      @LSxMotorsports2021 12 днів тому

      You can also do that if you can do it yourself or have a reputable head porter in your area. And in the video I mentioned you can send your factory heads to Texas speed and they will CNC port your heads.

      Summit racing if they have what I need because if you spend $400 or so Canadian you get free shipping. But I have also bought from hawks motorsports and speed engineering which has pretty high shipping cost and being in Canada you have to buy from their eBay store because they won't ship to Canada on their main websites. I have also bought the odd part from Amazon because of free shipping.

    Flow numbers can be misleading, what bore size they flowed them on matters

    • @LSxMotorsports2021
      @LSxMotorsports2021 12 днів тому

      I agree. Most will use a 4" bore or larger which is why if trick flow are being honest and actually flowed their heads on a 3.9" bore then their heads flow very good.

    Ls Chevy engines or all LS engines can take this

    • @LSxMotorsports2021
      @LSxMotorsports2021 12 днів тому

      These heads will all physically bolt on all LS engines but the problem is the 4.8,5.3 and even the 5.7 have less than a 4 inch bore so you have to be sure before buying that the valves will clear the bore. The LS2 and the 6.0L truck engines have a 4 inch bore so all these heads will work. So basically spending this kind of money means you want to check with the manufacturer before ordering because there are heads available for the smaller bore engines that still flow good they just use smaller valves and of course you want to get the right chamber size also so you have the compression where you want it. I didn't mention the LS3 because it uses rectangular port heads which already flow as good or better than most of the cathedral port heads in this video.

    Hey Corey, what tune are you running? might need to be adjusted as these are decent times but depending on tune it should be high 11's with all you have done already - but it is a vert so its a bit heavier than a coupe.

    • @LSxMotorsports2021
      @LSxMotorsports2021 13 днів тому

      It is tuned by me. And it is dialled in pretty good a pro tuner may get a little more but not much. But it runs a 2.0 60 ft time because of the stock converter which I have a torque converter for it but it is a cheaper one so probably will go low 12s after I get it installed. As is it now it would need a 1.7 60ft time to go a high 11.

    Hey great video I’m new the whole car scene my dad passed away during Covid and the first I ever learnt to drive was a 2002 Camaro so I’m buying one to build up to give my little brother when he graduates but quick question can any of the top 5 engines fit in a 2002 z28

    • @LSxMotorsports2021
      @LSxMotorsports2021 14 днів тому

      Well yes they all can fit in a 4th gen Camaro. It can get a little expensive but definitely can be done. Most of those engines can be bought new from GM performance parts and can be bought with an ECM to control them. Good luck on your build and thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate it.
