Speed engineering dual exhaust.

Sweet stuff right there.
😅
Did you heat the tires up first 😁
Yeah I did. I was actually trying the car in several different areas and I think there may have been a very fine mist of rain just before I got to that spot.
How are you doing this? The block heater has a thermistor built in, I thought it only activates when it's -18c
The block heater comes on as soon as it receives power. Now it does turn off when it reaches a certain temperature....not sure what that temperature is and then comes back on when that temperature drops back down. I have a trickle charger on this truck so when it is very cold I plug the truck in to keep the battery charged and I put the block heater on a timer so it only switches on about 4 hours before I have to go to work. No sense in the block heater running all the time. That's why I set it up this way.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 I understand the turning it off part. But on the Colorado forums, it was revealed that the 2nd gens all came with thermistors in the block heater. As in, it would only turn on after it was cold enough outside. They said you could cut out the thermistor and it'll operate how yours is, but they warned everyone that leaving it on at the 8 hr mark would throw up a permanent check engine light in your dash. Did your block heater corn with your truck?
@@LSxMotorsports2021 mines broken right now but when it did work, it wouldn't activate until it was cold enough outside.
I honestly don't know because it is always cold enough here when I actually use it. Now when setting it up for the first time it would turn on because it was drawing power but how long it would actually stay on I don't know. I only ever use it when it is cold. And yes this is the block heater that came on the truck. I should mention that the original cord that came on the truck was faulty and a replacement from GM was also faulty so I sent the new one back and fixed the original with a new plug.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 are you in Canada?
Years ago when I first bought my Camaro it would occasionally cut out the engine when passing. It finally learned not to do it somehow. Probably matching the rpm to the shift points
How did you do the blue leds in the HVAC controls and what size bulb? Thanks
Just remove the trim around the radio and HVAC then I think there are 2 screws holding in the HAVC then there are 1 or 2 bulbs sized 74. Been awhile since I did this but pretty sure that is the bulb size. They are smaller than the 194 bulbs.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 thank you so much! Beautiful car
Thanks. And thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate it.
The Factory GM Opti spark units with the Mitsubishi sensor are the best units for LT1 or LT4 engines
Very cool! I'm teaching myself to diy tune my 94 LT1 as well.
Yeah it can save alot of money tuning yourself.
Where is this?
Miramichi New Brunswick at Speedway Miramichi.
H/C/I?
Stock Cam. Ported stock heads but ported by me so they probably aren't great but better than stock. Headers,Exhaust and CAI.
hey whats your PCV set up on the white camaro?
I installed a cheap catch can from Amazon on it just after I put the Cam in it. It does the job so didn't see a need for an expensive one.
You saved the best for last I see 😁
Yes sir👍
First
what does the LT1 package add to the 2ss?
Well actually LT1 is what GM calls the V8 engine that is used in the 2016-2024 SS cars. They did introduce a lower cost V8 camaro that they just called LT1 in 2020 along with the 1SS and 2SS.
🔥🦅💨
Couldnt i just take my high and low wires from my factory connector and combine them to fit the new 2 prongs on a new replacement speaker? Or would that cause issues? I wouldve rather had a adapter plug or something so i wouldnt have to cut anything honestly.
I think I did what your saying and it didn't sound right so I did it this way. It's been so long since I did this that I don't really remember and I am not a stearo guy. It's still working several years later but there was a comment that I used the wrong speakers with the incorrect ohms or something. Again not a stereo guy I just got them working and they still work.
@LSxMotorsports2021 I'm not an audio guy either, that's why cutting wires of my new speakers worry me! Lol.
I agree with you on that. They may be adapters available somewhere I just never bothered to look.
Come on man you can do a lot better than this
What about make a big cam sound like an absolutely MONSTEROUS cam?
I don't know. Only played around with it a little. It would be interesting.

😁
You don’t need to replace that rotor bolt, just are there for the assembly line.
Yeah I know but if I didn't replace it for the video I would have gotten many comments saying I should have.
I use Moog parts if I’m keeping the vehicle, if not than jobber parts
Not old enough to need ball joint replacement? High mileage and poor road conditions?
No it's only got about 80000 miles but yes very poor road conditions. During inspection the mechanic said they were getting bad. It did have the clunking sound which is now gone.
Thank you! Just walked me through it step by step.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Really appreciate it.
If you do this, just disable the code. Doesn't that just shut the light off but not fix the problem? The car will still run lean or rich? The reason it throws code is because of the sensors not getting enough heat and reading correctly, or so I thought??
This is to eliminate the secondary O2 sensors. When you install Longtube headers you usually remove the cats and the secondary sensors so you eliminate them from turning on the check engine light. You don't change anything on your main O2 sensors they still run normally. There are some changes that can be made to help the main O2 sensors work better because of their placement being further back in the headers but I have made no changes and the car runs fine.
@LSxMotorsports2021 idk how I missed that. Thought you were clearing the check engine light for B1S1 and B2S1 .. I'm currently having to deal with the front O2 sensors throwing my check engine. Car was pro tuned, and I replaced both sensors. They are being very lazy and not switching as often as they should. Only effects car mostly at idle but then when I clear code again. Car will seem to run fine for a day and then boom! It's back on....
This is where I lack experience when it comes to tuning. I have not come across this problem but I think I have read about it. The long tube headers move the O2 sensors back from their original position so they don't run normally and I think there are changes that can be made in the tune to compensate for this but I don't remember what those changes are. I will try and find the video and post the link here for you when I find it.
I wanna see it from the starting line
Our latest video on the channel has it from the starting line.
Terrain looks a little different in Mexico 🇲🇽 this time of year 😂…that’s a sweet ride!

That’s quick in 94!
Yeah it needs a cam,Converter and traction.
What’s all done to it ?
Cold air intake, headers,SLP exhaust,1.6 Roller rockers and ported heads. Stock gears, stock cam and stock torque converter. Just added the torqhead kit to it because he was having so much trouble with the Opti spark.

What a cheap Set up, Very Bad Design,
I would have to agree.
First vid of yours I seen, sounds wicked man. What car is it?
That one is 94 Camaro Z28.
How u tune it?
It has the torqhead kit. So I was able to tune it with HP tuners. The torqhead uses an LS1 ECM.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 its been a while but i just member that those were complicated to tune .
@@LSxMotorsports2021 wow thats impressive ha u think u can break 12 's ha
Yeah with the stock LT1 computer they are tough to tune.
That is our goal to hit the high 12s but I don't know if we can without more modifications. Traction is a problem and he has already blew his budget for this year. Not sure I can bring it much further with only tuning. An experienced tuner might.
That's a familiar sound. I was indoctrinated into such antics in the 60's. One of my favorite habits and memories.

LS swap is what id do to any 93-97 lt1 that's just me. Prefer the 350 tbi and vortec over the lt1 for alot of reasons. LT1 can handle 150-200 shot of nitrous from idle if you decide to race it. Thats about all id do to one and blow it up.
I get where your coming from. But I personally feel there is alot of potential in the LT1 but of course I have an LS1 so maybe I would feel different if I was trying to modify one today.
Improve your shifting and you could bring that down to a 4.30s 😮
Big gulp is 5in think that is still for the lt4 motor..I have a whipple and cammed and running 4in on cold air…running 10lbs boost and pistons seem to be fine..love it
