This is the channel for my podcast Invisible Wounds: Healing From Trauma. I will.also provide information on Intimate Partner Violence, and Traumatic Brain Injury! We'll look at various aspects of trauma beginning from before we're born, through childhood, the teen years, through adulthood. I provide not only information on how to heal, but in each episode I give examples of skills, tools, and other exercises designed to help you become "unstuck." We'll also examine different dynamics of abusive relationships and how to get out of them safely! I will also talk about brain injury as a result of being in an abusive relationship and how it impacts us: It's much more common than you think! I'm a survivor of all of it, and you are too! Join me as we learn, grow, and heal together!
Holiday Reflections
This is just a quick message about my commitments to myself and you for the next year. You'll be seeing me "warts and all" on many different subjects. I am working with my friend Paula Walters on a lot of new and exciting things, as well as bringing back my own Invisible Wounds: Healing from Trauma podcast, blog, ect. I hope you'll join me on this journey!

Invisible Wounds: Healing from Trauma Episode 27: No More Shame, Blame and Guilt!
Greetings!
This is always one of my most favorite questions to ask of the guests on my program - are they an introvert or an extrovert, and where they always that way? I try to explore this because I recognize that I used to be an extrovert, and trying to be an extrovert did, in a weird way, heal me in great ways. But once I reached that point of healing where I knew I was ready for more, I became the introvert I wanted to be.
WOOHOO!! I'm proud to say that I was the first guest, but this is so amazing! I love that you're talking to so many amazing people on your program!
Self care is so important!!
Thank you. This is so what i needed to hear today. Im grieving the loss of my old life
Love it!
