A few days on Fraser Island with the Brisbane Jeep Club, the beach is still a bit washed out after last years storms. Even three hours off high tide it was surging a bit and pushing us right up to the bank.
Overall a great trip to a magical place and only a couple hours from home.

It was taken in the Mountains in Victoria outside of Dargo it was up the top of billy goats track from memory. The region is magnificent, great driving and great scenery.
Thank you for the reply. I have the same car but worried about driving through water without a snorkel. How did you manage water?
Mine had a 2 inch lift and slightly bigger tyres so that helped, but I used a water bra or cover. You can just put a tarp over the front of the vehicle but its easier to use the water bra as it has straps for attaching around the mirrors.

stay out of the salty stuff and spend about 2 hours cleaning afterwards
What rust prevention do you have?
My wife has a Liberty and I have a Wrangler, I've had to call her a few times for a recovery because I was stuck. The Liberty just soldiers on. She loves it.

Shawn sorry I dont have specific tracks in a gps file. I wasnt trip leader but plenty of options out there just grab a map and explore
20/12/13 Got my first JKU hangin to get the front and read bars,rock rails and a 2.5" lift, cant wait to start 4x4ing........

Khalil The rails are custom made no aftermarket choices in Aussie so I made my own, they are similar to some I saw in the states but Im not keen on drilling the chassis so I came up with an alternative way of mounting using existing points on the chassis (no drilling). thought about importing some but the postage is a killer.
