Great synth tracks with a definite 80’s vibe, but as someone who lived in Miami during the 80’s this doesn’t sound like anything we’d hear back then. Miami sounds were exotic and what I like to call “tropical”. Music was melodic and light, like being on the beach, sitting under an umbrella on the sand with a cool drink in your hand and Caribbean rhythms playing softly in the background. The tracks in this compilation have more of an 80’s Los Angeles vibe.
