hello. i am from croatia and i bought this one 4 years ago in poland. i am still shawing with wilkinson, but Wilkinson's razor blades are too sharp and i am using cheaper than wilkinson, a believe that cheap safety needs cheap blades and expensive safety expensive blades and answer to your question: safety razor is made for shaving, so.... you can buy a safety razor for one million dollar, that fly's, has lights...everything but it is still just for shave so it doesn't matters which safety will you buy, it only matters if you want, mild, middle or aggressive.

Thanks for the amazing input, my friend! When it comes to my facial hair, Wilkinson blades have been great for me. I did try Dorco blades with this razor, but they didn’t work so well. For now, I’m sticking with Wilkinson blades for this razor. On the other hand, my Dorco blades work fine with my super cheap safety razor-the one I got for just 5 dollars. I have to say, even though it’s a very aggressive razor, it’s still excellent for precise lines, like sideburns or if I just want to grow out a bit of stubble.

My friend excellent video! You know I mostly do Straight Razor content and if you’re interested in that then I would suggest a shavette razor before a straight razor you sharpen just because it has the same mechanics when you’re shaving but the cost of entry into the hobby is a lot lower. When it comes to straight razors some additional costs will be added when you need to resharpen it and the leather strop. If you do end up thinking about shavettes then I recommend the one dovo makes which is an excellent shavette and you can use the same blades you’re using now. If anything I would invest in a shaving brush and some artisan soap, it really is a lot better than the canned stuff plus if we are being honest it’s just nice to try out different scents and massage your face. I recommend a synthetic brush from Hendrix and classic I have “the jack” with the dragon knot and honestly I don’t see any badger brush being better than this if anything they are equal but for a lot less price. For soap my buddy Eric the Cajun blade makes some great soaps that are specifically made for straight razors but if you want to keep using DE then any artisan soap can be used. During the shave the only thing I would change is I would make my first initial lather really wet and use that as a pre shave to get the skin really slick and then add more thicker soap on top… basically it’s to make the skin glide a little more, they sell pre shave oils but it’s not really necessary and can be done with the method I described above… all in all I’m happy to see your very interested in the hobby, I can’t wait to see more of your content my friend! Have a good one and you can always contact me through here, email, or even Facebook if you find me hehe cheers

Hey Sean, I really appreciate all the insights! I’m definitely interested in trying a straight razor at some point, and a shavette razor sounds like a great idea to explore as well. What I’m looking forward to trying soon are the shaving soaps and pre-shave oil, especially as I continue to use my Double Edge razor-which I’m hoping to upgrade quickly. Keep those videos coming; I enjoy them a lot and truly appreciate your feedback!

@@shavestrimsandlifestyle For sure! I think you're going in the right direction getting a brush, pre shave oil, and some artisan soap... at some point it changes from just shaving to relax time where you get to shave with items you really like... you got a friend in me so any questions you might have feel free to reach out brother

Straight and safety razors are the way to go but these ones are good for a quick shave.
