That was great, Just what I needed for the Holidays!
@@HathorSkye Happy Ghoulidaysss
i first saw this at the mall, advertised as event for kids, shown on an inflatable screen. my overiding thought was,,, this is for kids? i laughed so hard at like water for chocolate.elephants. Edited to add: when they mentioned the virgin lighting the black candle, I automatically assumed a girl, to this day it irks me I thought that.
@@jeanstecher4694 😂 right? We get it! They probably thought they were being tricky throwing us Max as the virgin 🤷🏻♀️
How did i miss this one?! Mind, you, not sad about that.😂
😂 it was a real treat
Locked in!!!! Gobble Gobble!
🙌
I can’t believe I have not seen this movie, adding to my list. And as a Leo I appreciate your take. I would be a combo of the dire mother, the witch and jackal
It was a low bar so it could only inspire better slasher flicks. Not to mention set safety standards.
I liked this movie as a kid, but like you, watching it as an adult is a different vibe. Haven’t seen the newer version and don’t think I will. The original was good enough for me! Love the minimalist costumes 🤌🏾
@@SweetsE1983 the vibes areee different! Totally get it
it's just a bunch of hocus pocus 🐈⬛️✨️
This one is a classic. Not my fave, but its good.
Psychological pain is worse. And intention is everything, especially at that level of planning and execution of the scenes.
Yessss all the Halloween vibes 🎃
🎃👻
13 ghosts!
The jackal 😭
Locked INNNN! Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!
@@HathorSkye 🙌
This is good 👍🏽
🖤🖤🖤
"Noice" ~Jake Peralta
Another interesting movie choice. Thanks!
@@HathorSkye Thank youu for watching 🦇
Hmm, I would say psychological pain would be worse. Like you both said, physical pain will heal, but psychological pain is long enduring and you may never get over it. Physical pain, like losing a limb, would lead to psychological pain as a reminder of said psych pain. So ultimately, I think psych pain is worse.
A question about the physical pain, is it a pain that is temporary in nature? Or is it a pain from something that changes you physically? For example, if you lose a limb or an organ?
All physical pain is temporary; but the pain can come from either a cut that can heal or the loss of a limb. For example, Dr. Gordon lost a foot, but went on to be fine. (EDIT: for clarification, I am not referring to conditions like MS or RA which can cause chronic pain. I am *only* referring to the pain that we see people endure in the movie. Aplogies for not making that clear)
Blue Knees from Madison
This is one of the best movies!
🙌
I wanna play a game !
Definitely WV vibes. I don’t know it was based in Jersey until I was an adult. lol. Though I roll my eyes watching it as an adult, it definitely was important for the horror film culture. Great review, ghouls!
100% WV vibes😂😂😂😂

This is my favorite movie of the one’s you’ve reviewed so far and it’s one of my all time faves. 🐦⬛

Oohh this looks good.
I had not seen the original Beetlejuice out side the classic clips. I just watched it the first time… I was like…okay? Come to think of it, have not seen Friday the 13th. Enjoyed your review and thought I’m good😊
Always happy to be of service! haha
Nice. I don't know why I was expecting the Christmas song to play with this lol
This is my favorite episode. I rate it favorite bloody axes out of 10. I totally did that right.

I think horror comedy. Perhaps the cringe was to be comedic cringe? 😆
I think so too!
Who did not expect the flaming spider?
Not I
I would love a watch party. Stay fiendish gets my vote
Unless they’re super interesting holes, then do it.
Loved this movie! I actually cried in the theater. Can’t wait for the sequel. This was a good listen, ghoulies!
