What if you have to put a new caliper on? I’ve tried this but it hasn’t worked for me. I put a new master cylinder on also. The brakes were great till I removed my rear wheel and when putting it back on, I couldn’t get the rotor to line up between the pads so I took the caliper off and as you said I haven’t had rear brakes since. I have fooled with this for over a month off and on but they aren’t working right yet. I can’t get the rear brakes to bleed either.

I never had a problem with replacing rear tires on my pre 04 Harley Sportsters or Heritage until now. It is a pain. Wished I had watched this video before I reinstalled my rear tire. Didn’t know about the floating caliper thing.

The 12au7 is a driver tube like a 12at7 and should not be used instead of a 12ax7. It draws more current and will run hotter unless the circuit is tweaked. A good candidate is a 12ay7 with a gain of 45.

Billy Gibson uses a secret pedal, there's a UA-cam video about his "secret pedal". It's a guitar graphic equalizer pedal, he only bumps up the 400 slider. This makes the Celestion V type speaker put out some growl and punch and the speaker sound fuller. Behringer sells one for $25.

I followed your video, and the piston is gripping the pads to the rotor, but I have no pressure in the pedal, if I push it down the pedal the caliper is actually pushing away from the rotor. Any tips? Thanks..

Changed the brakes on my sportster and my brakes felt like they were there but not fully I went crazy for 3 days tryna figure it out till this popped up and finally got them tight again

My 30, same as amp in video, just began squealing. It did fall onto floor face down from on top of a different amp. My bad on that! Wonder if that caused it? Probably! Doubt if I could fix. Will take to local electronics repair shop to check out filter cap. Thanks for info!

OK I followed the steps that you said, but when my friend that’s pushing the brakes, the caliper does not lock up at all the tire still turns, even when it’s fully pressed

How tight do you do the bolt? Is there a torque spec?

For the 2021 Sportster, the 2 mounting bolts (to caliper) are 12-point 10mm. Loosen them. Pump the rear brake pedal a few times. Tighten both mounting bolts to 32 ft-lbs. --The End P.S. Be sure to use a putty knife (or an old dinner knife) to push the pistons back into their bores BEFORE you change your break pads.

SCUBA weights? Neck dive? I see what you did there ;D My view on neck dive is never to buy an instrument that has it. If you're gifted one, then that's different. I refuse to support any product (Yeah, I'm talking at you, Gibson SG.) that is designed so poorly.
