Starting to catch a lot more fish on crawlers and leeches. Fish are beginning to set up on breaks, and gradually slide out deep during the day. One of my favorite ways to target these fish is with a slip bobber! I tried multiple techniques, but found out real quick they wanted the bait right in their face! I pay attention to water temperature, when I see a consistent 60 degree water temperature, I will begin using more leeches crawlers as I see a warming trend. Think finesse, small jigs, light line, small plain hooks, for this type of fishing!
