Beautiful but the softsprites use XOR ops for transparency and so it gives funky colours. That wouldn't happen with a VIC 2 helping the cpu 😅😊😊😊

Very nice graphics, great tunes from Ben Daglish. Yes, that was nice. The controls take a bit of getting used to, maybe not the best game play. Still a very nice game.

So fluent and fast

It would have been great if the programmers had implemented a use for that shield in the game. For instance, it could let you bounce off of enemies, making those blind jumps safer (there are still gaps you can fall in, so it wouldn't render your character invincible). Instead, they gave the player character a shield just for cosmetic purposes. Lame.

Globalement c'est pas mal comme palette. Juste le cadre rose qui fait un peu étrange. Il manque de contrast. En tout cas jeu vraiment sympa de l'excellent Jobbeee même si très difficile.

C'est pas trop mal comme palette (mais difficile à juger avec la qualité de la vidéo). Le hud est un peu triste, il aurait mérité du blanc et du rouge bien vif. Pour la zone de jeu, je trouve que ca rend pas mal. Juste le décors de fond qui mériterait d'être retouché pour être moins pâle. C'est tout le problème du repalétage, les gfxs ont été fait pour la palette old et les adapter simplement n'est pas chose facile. J'encourage Cyril à reprendre les gfxs, ca prend du temps, c'est plus de taf mais le résultat serait sans aucun doute supérieur et permettrait une palette plus adaptée au cpc+ (faire du gfx du cpc+ n'a strictement rien à voir avec du cpc old, c'est un monde différent avec des choix parfois difficiles). Bref, suis pas toujours fan des palette choisies mais il faut comprendre que ca n'est pas si facile qu'il y parait sans changer les gfxs.

I love and hate this game with equal passion. You jump, you die. You slide, you die. Your hookshot retracts when an enemy is close, you die.

ah, I remember playing this co-op with my best mate back in the day... He'd do air drums along to that music in the screen between stages lol 😂 An awesome conversion, almost arcade perfect and I'm sure it could have been even better, had Ocean dedicated a little more development time to add a few more details. This, Robocop 2, _Burnin' Rubber_ and Pro Tennis Tour were my favourite GX4000 games.
