Thanks for the video. I tried Sayboard and I found it very tedious to go back and forth between the keyboard and the app. I also found it problematic to have to input all punctuation manually. With that said I highly recommend you try FUTO Voice (available on F-Droid). It is free to use, but they ask that you donate $10 if you like it. FUTO automatically inputs punctuation for you and it surprisingly good at it, although it doesn't always get question marks and never knows when I want to input an exclamation mark. You also cannot see what words it is processing until you are done speaking. Louis Rossman is a sponsor of the project. You can look his video up about here on UA-cam.

What happens in terms of privacy and tracking if I log in with my Google account during setup? I know it might sound counter to the idea, but I'd like to continue to use gapps like Gmail, Waze and others but use /e/OS external server configuration instead (like GPS server and cell tower catalog server). Is this possible? Will the gapps use the alternative external servers? Or does signing in via your Google account nullify all these benefits?

    • @LovelyBlazingRush

It uses microg services which enhance privacy so far its possible by changing your advertising id hourly and some other things i couldn't do when i used youtube vanced because it required a slimmed down version of microg for non root devices. But this rom uses the full version of microg for its intended purpose. You will get tracking via using Google apps, but heavily reduced if you use the /e/ os settings and microg settings. I also recommend setting up your google account to gather less data.
