A very good, simplified and clear explanation of boundary fill. It would be good to follow this tutorial up with something that gives multiple cells for selection. Thanks you 🙏
Thanks for the feedback and the tutorial idea. I'll add it to my list of upcoming Fusion tutorials. :)

so now i have these colored bodies, how do i print it in bambu studio?
I don’t have personal experience with Bambu Studio, but from my research online, here’s what I found: To print your colored bodies, export your design as a 3MF file to retain color and material information. Import it into Bambu Studio, and assign each body to a specific extruder. If you have a multi-material 3D printer or dual extrusion setup (like the Bambu AMS unit), you can load different filaments for each body. If you’re using a single extruder, merging colors is an option, but layer-by-layer color changes won’t work well for this vase design. Another option is post-processing-print the vase in a single color and paint or dye it afterward to achieve the multi-color look. I hope this helps! And I think you’ll enjoy the next video-stay tuned!🙂
@@The_maker_letters oh! Looks like if I save the entire file as an OBJ file, then it seems to work! Printing now. Great video! Just what I needed to learn. I've always been wondering how these spiral models are done and how to make color prints. This video gave me both answers! Thanks a lot,
@@carolchennning9188 Glad the video helped and that saving as an OBJ worked! How did the 3D print turn out? If you’re interested in a similar but slightly different project, check out this Fusion tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/zGaCWa3FzKc/v-deo.html. Happy 3D printing!🙂
What a boat load of information, Excellent video!
Thank you! Diving deeper into the concepts covered in this Fusion tutorial opens up so many possibilities. But that could easily turn into a really long video! 😊
What's your go-to technique for using Fillets in your Fusion designs?
Can you show how to use parameters for repeats?

Thank you! Using User Parameters in the right situations is a smart habit :)
Parameters is something I need to start using more, most of the time I am designing a one off part.
Great, using user parameters in Autodesk Fusion offers several advantages that streamline the design process and enhance productivity. 🙂
How do you incorporate user parameters into your Autodesk Fusion designs?

Great video!
Thank you! :)
Suggest an alternative Fusion workflow below! :)
Thanks for the quick video. When you use Pin to Toolbar is there any way to organize the Tool icons that are added? It seems these are just ordered by whatever the order you used when you decided to enable Pin to Toolbar for each tool. These aren't shown in alphabetical order or any other order I can see. Do you know of any way you can order these icons?
Good question. I haven't found anything so far, but it would be useful for some users if they could arrange them in their preferred order. Perhaps this is a feature you could suggest to Autodesk if it doesn't already exist?
@@The_maker_letters Just a note, you can simply drag the icons and arrange anyway you want in the Search/Context menu. But there doesn't seem to be a way to arrange the tool icons on the Toolbar.
@@christopherlyons7613 You're absolutely right, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the video. To make this easier I would have used Create > Cylinder to directly create the holder shape without the need for the initial sketch. Then I would have used Modify > Shell to give the complete shape without having to manually add the bottom back in. Wouldn't save a lot of time but a bit easier overall.
Thank you for your contribution! The workflow you suggested is excellent. Every saved click adds up, freeing up more time for creative tasks. 😃
Can you provide additional reasons why creating patterns in the solid modeling workspace, in Autodesk Fusion, is advantageous?
Describe your best Autodesk Fusion workflow for a project like this Pen Holder. :)

Increase walls
How much?
@@The_maker_letters It depends on a lot of factors such as print quality, model complexity, slicer settings, and wall orientation. For perfectly horizontal and vertical walls (and honestly a lot of other factors) 3 walls can be plenty. It takes a lot of testing to find out what works perfectly for your specific model. If you don't care to figure it out, an epoxy coat will work fine (or any other waterproofing methods).

Thank you for taking the time to make this, however as a complete novice with Fusion 360, I wish this was going at 1/4 of the speed, for example, getting to the sketch part was really confusing and not explained. When you filet the corners, you start using a shortcut with no "an easier way to use filet is to use this shortcut". When making these tutorials it can be helpful to have pauses with a little info graphic or arrow for us noobies.
Thank you, i’ll think of that in future tutorials! It’s a balance between production speed and quality.. Good luck with your 3D modeling!
They can be, just increase the amount of walls and or infill %.
Thank you, I'll do that! :)
The comment about the size of the shipping box alone, was worth watching the video!
Thank you Adam!
Very clear explanation
Thank you Adam 🙏
Convert image to svg ,then bring svg in to fusion 360. Last step scale and extrude to Ur desired height.
That’s a good workflow if you want to do some of the process outside Fusion and have the right skills in other software. With that workflow, you only have to edit your shape for sharp ends and make it a little wider around the holes made for hangers. 👍
