I must admit I really don't know what his stance was on religion but Jim Varney was a good man. However his last words were "Please leave the window open." as reported by those at his bedside when he passed.
In real life the cop might have arrested Ernest for interfering with his work. Did he leave before Vern rolled up his window? Seat belts are mandatory here in Louisiana. At first they only gave warnings. One governor repealed the helmet law for motorcyclists. His successor reinstated it.
To: lolgeed-This was produced in 1996, and was only shown in North Carolina, as far as I know. I don't know if it made it on any collection of videos or not. Jim was the greatest, and no one can duplicate him.
RIP Jim Varney.
He needed somewhere for that beautiful soul of his to go.... :)

Wow!
LMFAO!!! We also have "Click it or Ticket" here in Kentucky.

To: 027220-To get away from Ernest!
Love Ernest. My dad rode on the same plane as him once.
Why would Vern speed?
@wislink262 Because Operation Repo is a fake show...they are all re-enactments of actual events
@dutchkollman Or California...
I wanna go home, vern.
RIP Mr. Varney.
@dutchkollman here in RI too
To: winerrs Yes, February of 1996 in Nashville, TN, where Jim lived.
To: Shell665: I heard that, too. I certainly hope he did make things right with the Lord. I would love to see him in heaven and hang out with him.
Just do it, man. Go take a nap, go to Thelma Lou's, watch TV, post another Ernest video. Just do it! Men in space ships are orbiting the moon.

This is so cool, I have the Ernest greatest hits commercial collection volumes 1 and 2. This commercial isn't on either one, thanks for posting!
Thanks for posting this, nmg82. You've made my day, thanks!
