Printmaking demo for multi-block woodcut printmaking by David Roholt
"Sized", how does one size, plexi? Or do you simply mean you cut it to size?
Thanks for being so clear in your explanation - I needed a reminder
Very helpful. thanks.
-Beautiful and inspiering video, thank you so much!
It's called a 'deburrer' plumbing tool.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble pulling a good print from a plexiglass plate the first time around! I also use easy wipe with my ink, it really makes the ink so much softer easier to get inside the grooves. Thanks for the demo. You are a great teacher, I bet your students love you! :-)
that tool is a deburring tool
Very good printmaking tutorial, nice and clear, everything explained thoroughly, not rushed, and I learned a lot. Thank you, very helpful!
muchas palabras sin ningun contenido. Pero gracias igual
Great video, very inspiring!
Excellent and informative video. Thank you.
terrific clear and very helpful
Thanks for the great demos!
I love your apron hahaha
Great demonstration on woodblock printing. Therefore, the apron design is kind of disturbing. LOL
thanks, great instructions :)
Hey David, what setting are you using on your press?
You really covered a lot of info - very nice job. I'm sure you're a great teacher.
Terrible first print/proof. You'd think, if you were demonstrating how to do it, you'd publish a good version. More importantly, you don't go into any detail at all about what makes a good piece of work/what to bear in mind before turning the art into a plexi dry-point work.
Gic-0-lee?! WTEVENF?!
+Jane Hobson Is that like Chic-fil-a?!
Your blotting technique sucks.
Jane Hobson, Four negative comments? How rude.
Scrim, then tissue paper. Not Tarleton (whatever that is) then Taffeta.
Dave! This is great! I'm teaching Japanese style Ukiyo-e style printing to my 7th graders- ran across your video- nicely done! Hope you are well, my friend. :)
what's the paper type ?
what's goin on with that apron though eh?
Alex ain't wrong. Anybody who can devote 30 seconds of a video to explaining why he wears a particular type of rubber glove, and then puts on two right-hand gloves, has got to be one sandwich short of a picnic.
You're an idiot
I am surprised at the negative remarks!
Just great, thank you, clear and complete.
Thank you, David!! This was so helpful :):):)
thaaaaank youuuu! :)
great video. Thanks!
the "pipe cleaner" is a deburring tool for removing burrs left when a pipe is cut
That's really helpful~thanks for the video~
