    What do you mean, 'lot of movement, but not what people are expecting...' ? you mean the fake jobs numbers where at best it reports multiple part-time jobs and not real, life-supporting jobs being created? Hhmm...

    Hello! I'm the student he mentioned, Ezra, and my concerns were absolutely not misrepresented here, but I would love to expand, because I feel that understanding these issues is vital to ensuring that the future is better than the now. My concern is that AI will not be used to better the life of the average worker, but to extract more labor from them, and furthermore, remove a lot of individuality from the creative feilds. Historically, as technology has progressed, in the interest of capital growth, the average worker has produced exponentially more "value", but not enjoyed an exponentially better life. Rather, the betterment of life and society was extracted from the labor pool and pulled into the upper crust of society. Consider the tractor. Has the average farmer worked the same amount of land more easily? Or did already wealthy farm owners greatly expand their area, and lease out that work to people whom received little of the benefit? It is my though process, that akin to the farmer, the writer will be made to produce significantly more "value" through the use of generative AI, while the economic value of his labor is not put to increasing what he receives, but to the pockets of the owning class. Following, the quality of the writing produced by the AI fueled author will also be without his individualistic spark, which, forgive me for my esotericism, makes it less human. The same applies to all creative feild

    Do you think careers in marketing or sales are something that will be automated or replaced by AI?

    • @e2gshow
      @e2gshow 7 місяців тому

      Much of marketing is data driven, but a human still needs to make the decision. Sales has become short sighted and transactional in the digital age. The most effective sales are done with relationships built over time. Networking and EQ can only be done with a human. If you play the long game, you'll win. Create authentic content as lead gen, then build relationships.

      It depends on the field. But in general, anything that is rules based, will be replaced by AI. Research into human needs and endeavors will be key.
