Since making this video, odds on the strip have gotten even worse at most places. The norm outside of high limit rooms now are 6:5, hit on soft 17, and continuous shuffle machines. Virtually unplayable on most tables on the strip. If you're looking to play, off-strip is definitely the best bet (figuratively and literally).

Yes; in general, if you're a new user then you can get both the new user benefit as well as redeem the LVA coupon in the same day. Same goes for the properties that have birthday rewards, those can be redeemed same day as an LVA coupon as well.

Especially if you're going to be there for an extended period, the kitchen area in the Signature rooms can make things much easier.

That's a different type of chicken dance altogether.

Oyo just off strip and El Cortez downtown still have $1 minimum, $5 at most off-strip locations. Can find $10 tables before 10am at alot of strip properties, but outside of that $25 is the norm.

There's definitely not a shortage of courses available that are better than most visitors local courses; however, the focus of this video was on quick and inexpensive options one could knock out if making golf a part of their Vegas trip (as opposed to it being the feature of a golf trip to Vegas). I agree, My latest visit I played Chimera and Rhodes Ranch, Chimera was nice but Rhodes Ranch was amazing! I am glad that they keep the price where it's at, we paid $120 a golfer and that included 2 beverages per golfer.

@BakoSooner is there any short courses like a 3 par course or pitch and putts youd recommend? I am going to vegas on Wednesday until Sunday and don’t want to dedicate a lot of time to 9-18 holes since not everyone on the trip golfs I was hoping to just get an hour in somewhere. I may resort to just finding a driving range if nothing comes up.

At present they have stopped supporting the free sports betting app (looks like the giveaways that were able to be earned for the first year were simply too good to continue). I've reached out to the company a few months ago and they claimed they were looking for a new partner / would update soon; but, I have not heard anything back from them yet & the app is still down.

Good idea. That would let the ballpark maintain it's character and is a relatively easy renovation. Could also put a single line of barstools around the top of the outfield wall in the walking spaces too.

You are correct that it's not "done" formally, but for all practical purposes I contend that it is. See the comments from MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred over the weekend (excerpts included here: apnews.com/article/rob-manfred-oakland-as-las-vegas-251e481890d3a663c34631052a5e9e0d?) and he's already talking about it as a done deal as well (the article also includes a quote from the Mayor of Oakland referencing it as done). So while, yes it is true that things aren't 100% done until the first pitch is thrown in Vegas, the team has "put its money where it's mouth is" by purchasing the land, the Mayor of Oakland believes it is done, and the Commissioner of the league is already talking about the feasibility of playing at the Las Vegas Ballpark until the new stadium is built (sounds like "done" as well) - so I don't think the reference made in the video is misleading. There is always a chance that things fall through or get delayed, this is Vegas afterall (ex: The Fontainebleau saga that was nearly completed when things abruptly halted in 2009 and after going through a few ownership changes is finally, we hope, finishing construction and will be opening soon). That being said, thanks for the comment. We welcome all constructive feedback and will be sure to provide more details in the future on how we've reached our conclusions regarding the move. I'm certain there will be more to cover on this topic as stadium plans are released, when the move will be made, etc.

@@americanloyalist4599 Agreed. Too much bureaucracy in Oakland. The current stadium is a dinosaur in 2023. I think LV will be a progressive place for the A's to thrive. I wish them well.

They can easily add 5 to 8, 000 seats.

@Phil Stone knowing that the Athletics is moving to Vegas, management-wise it is wiser to move the team as soon as possible. It literally doesn't make sense to stay in Oakland for another season. I believe the A's will be playing in Vegas starting next season there before the stadium gets built.
