Gday i liked ur video you should try a jointed tail on ur gold fish and add a bib aswell get some action in to it

Something I've never done is to flatten the loop of the twist-eyes. Great tip, I'll try to remember to do this. I was concerned that the tail fins would damper the action and interfere with hook-ups, but never realized them made a great weed guard that gets it in where the bass are. I'm not afraid to try something out-of-the-box. I discontinued using BSI and Devcon epoxies because of the short working time. If you want a true 30 minutes working time with the clear-coat try TrueCoat small batch epoxy developed for lure making. I can easily coat five lures with it before it begins to set. That filter will probably catch only the largest particles at first. A piece of cheesecloth or something similar in front of it would help filter finer particulates. Also, keep in mind that these filters do not eliminate fumes that are present with enamels, thinners, and cleaners. Love the shelf for holding paints! Got any plans for adding lighting later on?

Cool! I usually don't watch lure videos that don't include the build, but I did watch you build the segmented Bluegill. I've made a couple of those Daily-Double lures, one floating and one sinking. Even painted one the same color if I recall. So it was great to see yours in action!

Really like what you are doing. I could not find your template. Keep it going, would love to see more. I build lures, bobbers, etc. Not commercially, but for friends and share with those I meet on the reiver. Not making a dent in the commercial field, just having fun with it. Retired (Tired all over again) and keeping myself occupied. PS: Once I purchase a scroll saw, I will be making this lure. Thank you for sharing!
