Finally someone who spills the beans!
Can you do it with glue pulling alone?
@@kenmastersmaster no not damage this sharp
@primedentremoval I've seen that on roof rails and there's no other way to remove it except glue
@@kenmastersmaster yeah you’re right roof rails are glue pull only, which can make a sharp dent especially challenging or even non-PDRable
@primedentremoval should be doable especially on doors because they have thinner metal. Might take much longer. I've seen dent time and the guy from the UK do crazy stuff with glue pulling alone, which I am trying to learn without relying on rods
Good job !New subscriber here from UK.All the best
@@24cimbo hey I appreciate it 🙌
nice job !!!

Great video.
vary nice work. thanks for sharing the list of the tools you used
@@seryj_volk_7 thanks for watching! 👍👍
I just bought push rods and an Amazon PDR kit. Im a body tech so I have a lot of practice material to choose from. This video is definitely gonna help. Appreciate it man 👌
@@GucciManecubus awesome! Good luck to yah!
Lot a work for something that don't work how much you get paid
Hey man! Great video and repair! Talked with you in another video you made and I was wondering about your thoughts on the ProPDRsolutions since you mentioned it in the beginning of this video. Right now I'm actually debating on that exact light setup you have, or possibly a Stuckey XL light for starting up. I've used the ProPDR hail light and used the 18" Stuckey light, which is what I trained with and used for most repairs and once I started doing bigger repairs I used the ProPDR light which I liked. I haven't used the Stuckey XL. Don't know if you have any opinions about which light you would choose or if you are going to make a video about it one day? Thanks!
@@aldaircatalan8345 yeah! Wassup bro. I like the light fade on the propdr lights but I’ve had issues with their quality. A friend of mine has a small stucky and he let me try it and once the propdr lights kick it for good, I’ll probably switch to stucky unless I find another brand I like
You're basically a master craftsman, or more accurately, master repairman.
@@RaptorTroll360 thank you 🙏
Any luck with these cold calls yet? I think you would have a better success rate going directly to dealership body shops, or body shops. It comes across better than a phone call, and even if they say no because they already have someone you can drop off a business card. Never know when their guy will be out of town or unavailable and a body shop tech leaned on a rail too hard, or a dealership has a sold unit or a sale possibly contingent on a repair
@@LaneStevens I’ve already stopped into many of the shops and dealers around. This was just calling to other local companies. (Ex: landscapers, builders, etc) dabbling in it to see what it may yield. No closing but at the very least a few more emails added to the mailing list.
Do you get much business cold calling like this?
@@joeknight8479 my first twenty calls seemed promising. I had multiple good conversations with local biz owners who were interested in some repair work. Nothing came from it but I didn’t pursue it as I should’ve either. The next 100 calls (some shown in this video) were really un-fruitful. I intend to do more because it’s a numbers game, and I didn’t change my script from the initial attempt. Will keep you updated with new video when that happens.
You sounded like Brice Kelly in the beginning

@@SWMIPDR it’s awesome, Jonathan’s a great inventor! Very much appreciated bro 🙏
@ are you going to MTE in Florida? Would be great to connect if you do.
@ maybe. It’s up in the air atm due to some other possible plans, but if I do I’ll definitely hit you up!
Nice work!
@@BurbanlifeChevy thanks!
Wanna do my car I’ll pay you 😂
@@ryanevers-m5b oh of course
@@primedentremoval What state?
@ northern lower Michigan peninsula
@@primedentremoval minneapolis, thats a bit of a drive but id be down how much do you charge
@@ryanevers-m5b that is a drive and and half! The price depends on the severity and location of the dent. I’d have to put my eyes on it via pic or in person to have any idea. Just did a quick google search, it looks like there are a few local companies that have good reviews. It might be worth checking with one of them if you can’t find the time to make the trip over here!
I dont undestand the hatred when wanting to keep your vehicle as good as new, I know dents, scratches, and whatever else will happen I just dont like seeing the vehicle I worked hard to get look bad
Buy cheaper used cars. A car is a tool not a status symbol. That line of thinking is why American car debt is at like a trillion dollars and the average payment is like $800 a month. Its the reason most people are poor. My car is not a reflection on me. It is a depreciating asset that I need as a means to an end.
@@VedowKE absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to have nice things. People like to project their opinions for no good reason
@@metalman6708with that thinkin, might as well buy the cheapest meats, the cheapests beds, the cheapest shoes, and so on. let people have what they want, so long as no one else is bothered. you dont see anyone bothering you for being the way you are
Best way to get rid of scratches ?
@@_SwayFlow depends on how deep they are. Usually a sand and buff can improve the appearance of light to medium scratches 50+ percent. If they are through the paint they will need color matched with touch up
Keep em coming
Great stuff Ethan! Thanks for the video! Was wondering if I could communicate with you about starting up! I'm out of NC and wanted to see if you would be willing to give a couple tips on starting up!
@@aldaircatalan8345 thanks for watching! How close are you to starting up? Planning on it, or have the tools and are ready to go?
I have a business name, a logo, a domain and now thinking about if getting an LLC with something online like Zenbusiness or legalzoom, or if I should go to a local Accountant firm? And then afterwards get the tools and equipment to be able to write it off. Any recommendations? I'm planning to offer Paintless Dent Repair, Auto Detailing, and Auto Body Repairs (at some point because I was an auto body technician for 5 years before PDR)
@ awesome 👏 I have a local firm that helps me. Biz cards were pretty instrumental for me in the beginning. I was handing them out left and right to whoever would take them even if they already had a PDR guy. Then making sure I was available when they called.
Nice , thanks for sharing.

Try Sergio’s red cold glue it sticks too good
@@aidanramirez3357 I’ve heard that it does! Though I don’t think it would’ve worked here. I nearly had to pull the paint off to get that metal to move

Nice repair! I find Chevy to be the easiest bedcaps to remove. I cannot seem to find a good way to remove the dodge ones though
@@drdentrepair5530 the new rams almost seem like they are trying to prevent you from removing them. I use the curved titan picks, and I twist around both sides and pry.
Fairly new tech here with less then 1 year experience. I've used a PDR box on steel but didn't realize they work on aluminum? I guess I haven't ever tried.
@@Snowman380 they do! Just have to place some steel on the outside of the panel to get the magnet to stick and complete the circuit
Nice work boss.

How do you hit it with a hammer and chisel yet it doesn't scratch???

Always maintain 60-40 70-30 fulcrum for when you push those dents!
💯 A lot of great points here, ladies and gentlemen! Especially pushing behind the tape, because he’s right, some dents you’re gonna have trouble finding your tip.
