Nice job young magician. I've been doing card magic for years. My advice would be to keep your tricks fairly short and simple. Spectators will get bored. Unless the trick involves the spectator and has a killer ending it won't have much of an impact. I find the most mind-blowing tricks are the ones that are short and simple. You handle the cards like a pro...but keep in mind not everyone has that ability. But stay with it I like your teaching skills. And, yes, go ahead and offer items to your followers. When followers purchase goods it shows more than just verbal support but that they're willing to support financially.
I myself have been performing professionally for 10 years. I currently have a big project in the works. More on that in the coming weeks. Thanks for the advice and thanks for watching.

Nice trick! The first time I did it my VALUE card was the 10 of Clubs and my SUIT was the 2 of Clubs. It is obvious that if my Value Card is different like the 8 of Diamonds and the King of Hearts I will choose another 8 and another Heart so my force card is the 8 of Hearts. However, my force card would have to be another 10 (Value) and another Club (Suit) which is the same as my Value card. So my question is what if they are the same Value and Suit? Thanks. Robert.
When you get your peek to make your prediction and see that the value and suit would equal one of those cards, as in your case, simply cut the cards or give them another shuffle. A quick cut should suffice. This rearranges the cards in an order more suitable for the trick. I hope this makes sense and helps your situation. Thanks for watching.
