The dad is a terrible instructor. The hardest concept for new drivers is when your are reversing which way to turn the steering wheel to guide the direction of the vehicle. It is terribly confusing. Also, she needs to look over her shoulder when driving backwards, and check in both mirrors. Never relying on mirrors only. He should have her stand outside the vehicle and demonstrate how the vehicle moves in reverse when he turns the steering wheel lock to lock while she watches. That will help. Take her to an empty parking lot to practice.
It is kind of harder to drive a bigger vehicle in backing out. In the end of December 2016 towards late March 2017 that I drove my father’s 2008 Ford Expedition. Luckily it was a 5 seater one. I felt liked driving a tank for 3 months. It was hard to get in the vehicle just outside of my apartment during the winter. My next door neighbor was parking his car kind of close towards that vehicle. I was parking between the lines. This vehicle was so big for me. I did parallel parked it once just outside of the restaurant once. I gave a mini van enough room to moved out in the vehicle. I liked to parked it in a parking lot instead of parallel parking. I do have my driver’s license in driving the vehicle. With my mother we traded the Expedition for a 2015 Ford Escape SE in silver grey. It felt liked for me driving a Ford Focus again after the first week of driving it. I had that vehicle almost 5 years till it died on me in mid March 2022. I gotten a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. Sweet!! It took me a couple of weeks in learning the controls in it. It was a newbie towards me and a big upgrade for me. Using the Apple Car Play later on that evening in the parking lot of my apartment. I wasn’t 100% sure on using Apple Car Play. It was very easy to figured it out really quickly. It liked me playing on my iPhone. That was the 1st upgrade in 2022. A couple weeks that I gotten another upgrade was getting a new Apple Watch SE in space grey. I can used the Ford Pass app on the watch to start the Escape up,too. My last upgrade that year was getting an iPhone 14 in purple on Black Friday. I loved driving my 2020 Ford Escape so far. It was a little bit different than my last one was. I liked the dial automatic transmission in it.
Make sure she don’t look at her phone while she’s trying to drive. That’s one thing you gotta do whoever’s behind the camera needs to all remove the phone from her so she can pay attention to that to the steering wheel.😊
Acapulco 😅
