That’s fantastic!!!! 💖
Tolles Video❤❤❤❤❤❤ Forza Italia😊
Nice slow camera work. It allows the viewer time to see what it is your filming.
Thanks so much !! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thanks for the great video! I teach art history and I talk about those two bronze sculptures. I didn’t realize they were in Calabria! Thank you!

Was there in September, great atmosphere, Amazing food. Calabria was the best part of our trip to Italy.
That’s fabulous ❤
Tropea, Pizzo, Zambrone and Capo Vaticano beaches are my favorite. San Nicola Arcella and Praia a Mare are nice too.

Pergamonto is also growing in Greece and not only.
Very nice to look, but another plus in Calabria and Reggio.....is the aromas and fragrances in the pure air, very unique.
Yes!! That’s true!
Lovely video. Thanks for sharing!
My family is from here
Such a beautiful place !
Thanks so much for your kind words!!! Have a fabulous trip in Calabria ♥️
i like how you express how a place feels. Ps which country are you both from
Thanks! Bobby and I are from Quebec, Canada 😊
Were going soon! For the boat rides can you just go that same day and pay or do you have reserve?
Hello I booked ahead but saw that you could purchase a tour on site also. Just know that there are tours in various languages and to various combinations of islands. So English tours to the islands you’re interested in might not be available on the day you’d like to go. Also the boats leave early in the morning. If you don’t want to be disappointed you should book at least a few days ahead while you’re in tropea. If you’re only there for one or two days, I’d say booking online is a better option to make sure you don’t miss out. Hope that helps!! Have a great trip 😊
We have an apartment with panoramic ocean view, one mile from downtown Tropea.
That sounds fabulous!!!!
Great video! I really enjoyed watching it
Thanks you for letting us know!
You're pronouncing the "r" like a french person. You need to roll the r 😊👍
Yes!!! I’ve been told more than once!!!! But then again, I am French Canadian… voilà!! I’ll keep working at at! ☺️
Loved the boat tour to the islands! Thank you.
Thanks for writing ! Happy travels!
Looks like a boring town
I absolutely LOVED this video!! Thank you for taking the time to share and to allow us a moment to travel with you!!
Thank YOU for taking the time to leave a comment!

Planning a trip to tropea: where should I stay?
Ciao! Im not an expert on lodging but here are a few things to think about: what’s your budget? Do you want to stay in an apportent, a hotel, a BnB… À hotel will have lots of services and perhaps a beautiful view. A bnb will perhaps be more cosy and personalized. An air bnb appartement is what we chose. We had a really nice flat with a balcony. We cooked our own food much of the time. This is why I prefer having al little appartement. Hope this helps.
Wunderschönes Video❤❤❤❤ liked
Thank you!
How come your Italian is so good? Are you a native speaker? Thank you for the informative and entertaining videos!
You’re kind!!! I learned Italian travelling, friends and through classes at a community organization!!
the most beautiful city I have ever been to!!!! ❤
It’s fabulous isn’t it!!? ♥️
@@FigTreeTravel absolutely! I stayed in Pizzo for a week and went to Tropea twice because it is so amazing. But all the street cats made me really sad 😓
Yeah we went to Pizzo too! We saw a guy rescuing an an abandoned dog actually. I guess lots of stray animals flock there…
@@FigTreeTravel Oh cool, I like Pizzo but if you are a solo traveller it can be very lonely. I actually spent 5 days of my vacation to save a lil kitten that was crying for her mom every night! It was about8-12 weeks old and very hungry. So me as a xxl catlover can not pass by like the locals. One night before I had to fly home I managed to grab her and an old cat friendly lady took her. Unfortunately I was not allowed to take her home without vaccination etc 😓 it kinda broke my heart, but she is alive you know
Oh wow!!! How very kind and generous of you!! That’s a wonderful testimony of care and loving kindness!! Bravo 👏🏻
We enjoy your videos !!! Thank you for your experience so we can have great ones !
Thank YOU! For your encouraging words and for taking the time to comment ☺️
Amazing video and great tips !!! We enjoy your videos !!! Thank you so much !
Thank you JD and Ann!!!! ♥️
Where did you stay in Calabaria. What hotel do you recommend 😮
Hello :) We stayed in Air BnB’s in Calabria. I find them to suit our needs best and offer the best price vs quality. I also love having my own little appartement instead of being in a hotel. Happy travels !
Well done. We were in Tropealast year and you covered it well. We stayed at Residenzia Cardinale, best B&B and hostess in the world! Started our trip in Catania,Sicily, highly recommend! Good luck with your channel.
Thank you!!! Making the video made us want to go back!! Such a lovely place. Yes I love Sicily also!!
Thank you for sharing your talent with us and keep up the great work!
Thanks for taking the time to write !
Bergamonto may be the most famous product in Messina, but a small correction on your comment: Messina is NOT the only place in the world that produces it. ie i live in Cyprus and we produce it too in winter time.
Hello!!! This is true!! In the video, the gentleman says other people have tried to grow it but it’s not the same as ours!! Hehe! You know how proud Italians are about their products. I’m sure there is great bergamoto all around the Mediterranean ! Thanks for watching and taking the time to write.
il bergamotto esiste solo ed esclusivamente a reggio e in parte della provincia, non puo' essere contivato altrove , probabilmente per le condizioni meteo che influiscono sul prodotto, non e' mai stato prodotto a messina
Thank you. :-)
Pleasure !
What you do not say is the castle and the roads and the old streets were built by the hands of slaves
Hello! I’m not an expert. Surely there was a lot of social inequality at that time. Thanks for watching and taking the time to write.
Let’s hear it for Pooh.....Pooh person !
Slaves existed in every culture throughout history, the word derives from the Slavic people who were enslaved by the Moose Limbs. Africans enslaved Africans centuries before the Europeans even reached sub Sahara Africa, and Moose Limbs started the first African slave trade 1,500 years before the Europeans and still continues today. Europeans ended it. Go read a book
nice clip
Thank you!
Very well done videp
Thanks! I’m happy you enjoyed it!
Wonderful video! Thank you, I want to go!!
I’m glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful :) Stay tuned for a new vide about Tropea coming soon !

Hi I'm ranjeet from the India
Well made video! We would be interested in tours of properties. Not sure if you plan doing that. Is it safe there? Also before you buy do you have any recommendations on where to stay?
Hello!!! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It sounds like you have a very exciting project! Living in Italy would be a dream for me. Unfortunately I don’t have any info about properties. I think speaking with a local real estate agent as well as other foreigners that have bought properties in Italy would be good place to start. Blessings !!
Greeks were living there....still lives but not many
Enjoyed the video 😊
Grazie !!!
I loved this little place…and the people that we met there ❤️🤍💚
Very nice City!!!

Lecce is the Florence of the South.
Hello! It seems that both places have claims to the title! Lecce is definitely known as the Florence of the South too. I visited Lecce in 2022 and it is gorgeous indeed!! I understand why it holds this title.
