Hey buddy, are you getting any whining from grounding this way?
Exactly what was wrong with my car! Thanks for the video
Thank you very much for this video. I appreciate it. I understand the power set up for connecting the amps to the battery, grounding, and connecting the sub woofer to the amp. I'm a little lost at connecting the sub/amps to the stereo itself. I’m a real novice. I don’t intend to play my music too loud. I’ve got a beater, and the stock speakers are blown.
Something wrong with mine! While driving and hit anything in road like cracking road or bump that cause vibrating in the car, I see the water flowing to the windshield. You have any idea why? I checked the stick and it is stable
Just from one internet stranger to another, you're a legend! I thought I had a leak or something and it was this. Taped it back together and it works. Amazing
What kit?
helped me with my ‘10 civic ❤
I can’t even find the damn grommet. This might take awhile
Nice setup, how did you wire it to your head unit?
How does it sound? Was it worth the money?
Helps me a lot for my hybrid 2007 civic . Thanks 👍
That co-ax cable trick really helped us get the wire through, thank you!
I just took off the wheel well liner and it was easy easier than a coat hanger or coax
Gracias bro no encontraba como quutar ese plastico😊
Did you remove the old one?
I plan on doing this to the roof, floors, 4 doors & the trunk. Also replacing the engine mounts helps a ton with engine sounds. So once that's all said and done hopefully I have a quiet ride
What’s weird about the Civic 8th Generation cars is the fluid pump doesn’t have a fuse associated with it, it just connects directly to the battery or a small battery pack on the side.
they still kick for 15 years had me dead 😭🤣
What year is the car you worked on?
Looks great!!!
code is on a sticker inside the glove box
A must have!!
Awesome
7:09 was gonna supposed to put a subwoofer there
Where and what did you buy to do the soundproofing?
Don’t think it works if your cars a manual trans
What’s the trim called where the nozzle is mounted?
did you not connect the subwoofer to the head unit????
I did not connect the subwoofer to the head unit on my 2010 civic VP (Value Pack). My guess is that you did not know this model even exists. Not a single auto part store has ever heard of the model.
What do I do about my RCA CABLES and my remote cable? Cuz I’m running that on the other side of my civic.
Explain in more detail. What is your plan! Are you deleting your rear speakers to add a sub?
@@keithburger7224 So I’m just adding two subs in the trunk of my car and I got a new stereo and I already have an amp. Ima be connecting some wires from the Amp to the stereo. So I’m following your video for the power cable. But having trouble with where to feed my rca cables n remote. Hopefully this helps understand my question. :)
the water dont enter to the car by this way?
Thanks so much for the video. I'r running brake/turn signal wires so I can tow the vehicle. I've got the routing all done except through the firewall.
How do you hook it to the radio
The line level converter uses the rear left and right speaker wires to send a signal to it. So you need to cut the wires to the back speakers. You will no longer have back speakers. If you wire it properly the back speaker wires will send the signal to the RCA jacks and the voltage from the car turning on through the speakers will tell the Amplifier to turn on.
Does anyone do this in Massachusetts.
Where does the remote amp turn on wire go?
I feel like this is a trick question? The line level converter detects the voltage of the stock amplifier turning on to power the speakers and uses that signal as an output to tell the amp to turn on. So the remote wire on the line level converter connects to the remote input on the amplifier. Eliminating the need to run a wire from the front of the car on a switched ignition lead. I hope that helps.
@@keithburger7224 my line output converter has no blue amp power on wire. It has a 4 speakers wires and a ground wire. I ran a blue amp wire to my fuse box for 35 on my honda civic then ran it to the amp.
How do you run wire to the trunk? I have a 2007 honda civic coupe. Do you run under the seat?
I have never seen a coup. If it has a fold down seat from the trunk, then yes. I just fed it between the hinge.
At 5:34 I show how I did it. It is just poking the wire under the seat. If you can't figure that out... I can't help you.
Bro this was literally the same problem I had before, I just had to reconnect it and it went back to working, thank you!
I didn't leaned $Hit about this video. No explanation on sowing or tucking in with the flat plastic tool
What is this video showing ???
helpful...what! why not show from start to finish.
The code is on a sticker in the passenger side glove compartment on the right side it’s a 5 digit code
Thankyou
Do i have to buy an chinch adapter for the radio?
I don't know what a chinch adapter is. This is all I did, no hidden tricks.
How did you get your phone to stay up like that?
??? It was an iPad. I held it with my left hand. No tricks.
@@keithburger7224 nvm lol I see what you did, you laid it against the digital display. I didn’t see that, have a good one!
Anyone know how and were does a remote cable for my amp go?
Remote goes from the stereo to the amp. In your amp it should say where to go
How did you remove the carpet on the passenger side? Did you just pull up once the driver side was free
How is the sound while driving on highways now
Approximately 30%-35% more quiet. Much better.
You saved my setup, I was going crazy looking for a suitable ground
I was waiting for a sound test lolol
Wrong place to install the positive terminal. People use the middle firewall
Thanks man really helped my friend and I. Love you mama
Do you have any video of how the car sounds from the outside to show the effectiveness of your sound dampening?
No
