I saw the title of this video and had a bit of hope. I once challenged myself to 100% this game without a memory card (took me three tries due to crashes), and I got enough of a gist of what the devs were going for that I think this game could have worked if it hadn't gone through development hell and then been rushed at the last minute, but…it doesn't look like this is an improvement at all. Was the bug in the last level, where once you get to the lava caves all the graphics behind you permanently unload so you literally can't see anything, fixed here? What about the fact that there are more than the listed amount of gems in the last level, and once you reach the listed amount all the other ones just despawn, was that fixed? The last level really does show the worst of the effects of just how horrendously rushed this game was, I was hoping to see glimpses of that…but if the performance issues, collision issues, and general jankiness wasn't fixed for the earlier levels in this mod, I guess I can assume the mod didn't do anything besides fix the ability to glitch through the gates and possibly the swim-in-air glitch. A shame…I really WOULD like to see this game done right, at least to the point that it's basically functional from start to finish.

Best example of a game that is just sort of rotten at its core. This isn't really a Spyro a Hero's Tail situation where just small just and general weirdness prevents it from being pretty good. Enter the Dragonfly by its nature, even at its best will only get to being a cheap imitation of Spyro 2. Not a knock against the modders, but to fully complete this game you'd have to do MAJOR work, and by that point you better off just making a spyro fan game or a completely original IP.
