The plan this morning was to head down South Shields Pier to try and get the first bit of content for the channel, but the weather had different ideas and the 16mph NE winds, with the 30mph gusts would of made it hard to have any kind productive fishing. We will try

Watching the videos of Babet from Canada. You sure took a walloping. I see the Lifeboat coming in on your video. I hope that everyone was smart enough to stay in protected harbours and not foolishly endanger the lives of those fellows.
@@abrahamdozer6273 Pretty much the whole dome of the light house was washed in. If you google South Shields Pier you’ll be able to get a good idea of how much was washed away.
@@TheAllRoundFisherman I live right on the shore of one of the Great Lakes literally looking out over the water and I'd be hesitant to send my drone out in much over 10 knots. I'm becoming a little old lady as I age, I'm afraid.

Thank you. There’s days where you pull in 3, 4, 5 mackerel in one go and then there’s days where you only get one here and there. Monday looks ok weather wise, so the water should be pretty clear on the sea side of the pier. It’s always worth a shot.
