Doesn't seem like it's even really a Butterfly Effect movie because the "time travel" jumping is way different than the blackouts of the first movie. He only goes to events of his own life, in the same body at the same age. In this movie he's like teleporting and time traveling all over the place. Seems like a very different power. I wonder if this was an unrelated time travel movie that they stuck the title into to get more attention.

😂 8:52 Summerslam 2005. RIP Latino Heat. I've seen KB1, 3, and 4. Somehow I missed seeing 2. When I think of this one, "rushed" is the word that comes to mind. I think they may have rushed this one out and didn't iron out some script and plot details. You touched on some of them. First of all, the timeline. That is a lot for David Sloan to have done in a few years. He got married, and started working for the DEA. Got framed and sent to Prison, then also somewhere in there, the events of KB3 happened. When the DEA comes to get Him out of prison, they tell him they need his help taking down Tong Po because they have been trying and can't get close. All I can say is how!? Tong Po's goons get their asses kicked by everybody in this film. I believe some mean teenagers could have gotten past them. They did a poor job of making me believe his henchmen were a threat. Even the young girl Megan helps kick their ass at one point. That 1st sex scene was kinda pointless. I get the one they show later with Lando and the other woman. It at least involves characters in the story but that 1st one just felt like time filler. At this point I am just ranting, but I'll sum it up by saying this movie had potential with the right amount of time and person writing the script. However I guess by the 4th movie they no longer cared.. Cheers and good luck to you.
