Enjoy watching these 2 again. Very funny 😂
Didn't this used to be on a Sunday afternoon?
Eve ferret is in one of my favourite movies Haunted honeymoon.
I was sick with tonsillitis when i was 9 and miserable. My neighbour put this show on and peter and david cheered me up with there hilarious banter. R.I.P to both Peter and David.
Happy times loved these guys soooooo camp old school thankyou sweeties
Did the impressionist Faith Brown appear with Hudson and Halls, and if so do you have that episode?.
Englands true beauty of a lady.
Very classy television, indeed.
Thanks for putting these on. Have you the ones with June Brown or Liz Smith?
Sorry - I don’t think that I have either of those.
great huge collection of uk living footage too.
Exactly how gay are these two? 🤣
This was a great fun show. R.i.p to Peter and David.
My mum and dad went to Blackpool in 1973 and they went to a variety show and the headline act was basil brush.😀. Freddie Star was in the middle of the show doing impressions.
Not bad quality for VHS but why is the audio out of sync?
He was top of the bill when I were a lad, and so far as I'm concerned he's still right up there.
Thanks for this
Sorry - no.
Do you have the episode where Faith Brown appeared as the celebrity guest?.
I had colonoscopy one time. All the while I kept hearing "The Lancers" which he did as "Mr. Pastry" on Ed Sullivan during the procedure.
These old segments are wonderful. Bring back memories. ❤
Those were the days ❤
They were so lovely. Such a sad ending to their lives.❤
uk living forgotten episodes excellent 1994 recording but episode was from 1987, love cookery programmes from 80s
great programme that sure was , 1990?
Wonderful to hear from Richard Hearne 👍
Wonderful to discover this! I played this to my children in the 1950s. when I worked for the Australian Government, as an agricultural officer, in Bougainville.
He could have spoken for another fortnight for me. What a fascinating man and wonderful entertainer. Thank you for sharing this insight into a hugely popular and inspirational performer from the bygone era of entertainment.
I had the pleasure and laughter of seeing this wonderful and very funny couple in the Arcadia Theatre back in the seventies ... REST IN PEACE Ted & Hilda ... we will never forget you.
I'm caring for Ted's sister and she is going to be so happy on Monday when I go round to hers, she is 98 this year and an amazing lady 🙂
Good shot Moray. I tried to get Tornado on the Harringay curve back in May but it was diverted to the main-line. Happy New Year Barry
I used to live in Crouch End & have never seen a steam loco on the Harringay curve, great filming!
Super shot at a great location. Barry
Thanks Barry, I liked your film at Finsbury Park. It shows the signalman switching her over to down slow 2 just north of the station. By doing that he could halt her for 10 minutes at Wood Green waiting for a path without blocking anything. At that time on a weekday morning they had to get her out of the Cross. Moray
An excellent shot at Harringay. You got nice colour. I filmed just up the line from you, at Finsbury Park. Barry
Thanks for your kind words Barry. You do have to be careful at this end of the ECML. A passing train can easily block the view. I like the country end of the Up platform at Wood Green, but there's the double risk of an Up service blocking the shot, or a down fast service doing the same if she comes through on the down slow. I've just seen your clip at Hornsey - excellent. Moray
Great shot. I was really worried that the 313 would block my view but Ollie was early. A like from me. If you haven't looked at my clip at Hornsey please do so and comment it would be nice to hear from you. Barry
good old tangmere never fails to make a bad day good great video lovely
Thanks - perhaps they have found the right coal at last. But it was COLD at Harringay this morning. I was the only one there to see her. I wonder why !
sounds like she got over her problems from Saturday!
Being your first viewer I should say nice vid - enjoyed watching the magnificent Tornado accelerating her train with those crisps barks from the exhaust!!! :-) TU
Jay Aston (a member of Bucks Fizz the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest Winners) and Lance Aston are Ted and Hilda's children. Lance also participated in ESC in 1980 with a group called Prima Donna and is married to Marcella Detroit (formerly of Shakespear's Sister).
Nice one
Thanks for your kind words. It was very cold down the end of the platform this morning.
Superb well done
That worked very well with the three together, but from any other location there you would have been in trouble.
Brilliant shot with those two public trains combined. 10/10!
brilliant shot with the extra trains in it 5*
Nice shot! we got it at Kings Cross and it left in a hurry!5*
Nice video 5*
Superb images.Bravo. 5 *
Love the billowing smoke and snow, then a well timed chime whistle. Nice clip.
