Top speed
Top speed?
I so want to do this to my 16-footer!
Not puting 110 to the water. All I hear is cavitation.
It did just fine in zero chop. Could have used a spoon for the rapids
Were yall ripping down procter creek? I NEED ONE
What part y’all on, I put in right by Whitesburg
That looks like driving hover craft. Kind of goes where it wants to go.
Awe super fast bro…. Good story. Tell it again…..
it's an overpowered jon boat.. I intend to do something similar to mine. you don't like it ,shut the fuck up and scroll on. RETARD😂
I’m itching to have a boat
Cavitiating sooooo hard
Not me !! Accident happens anytime..
Haha wild!!!
Needs some lifejackets be safe bro. 🙏
Built by you? Definitely gotta see more of this thing man, so sick!
Yes sir! Will be posting more videos
Epic!
wow that looks awesome.
I want to sit there too❤
Elementary
So dope
Got a gps speed on it yet? I'm currently gathering the parts to start building one.
i feel like if i don’t stay in the middle of the creek im gonna run into a sand bar and get stuck… but not this man
What’s that setup like? I have a boat of similar size that I’m on the fence about converting to jet drive for shallow water
Just a little cavitation
What's that a wave raider 1,100
That smile says it all.
Slow af
Waiting to go fast
All fun in games until u hit a log under the water
It's a jet pump, it will float over the log like it isnt there.
@@MistahElias they get dents and gouges.....I know I own one.
My grannies walker is faster. L
Any chance we could get a good look at this boat Works?
That’s going fast?
Drifting through the river
That’s sick nice boat
That's the plan! But reading in the comments you got about twice as much motor than I need for my little 1236. I'm down here on the flint (looks like the same body of water as there) I've thrown around the idea for surface drives and long tails too but I think I want a jet, there really isn't any vegetation to worry about and there's so many rocks right here on the fall line that I'm sure I'd bust a prop every time out. (The skeg can only protect from the bottom) . So I'm looking for a donor ski!
I am currently putting a 215hp supercharged rotax in a 14' boat. There is no such thing as too much power!
I had a 12 foot flat bottom with no motor that I used to put in a super shallow creek, I put it in there why that creek was flowing real good and we almost sank it lol
lovely
People who don't own them have no idea how fun that really is
What motor on this thing
110hp yamaha
So what would you do to keep the cavitation and surging of the engine when air gets under the boat from a wave? Would get super annoying and probably make you loose thrust in some dangerous spots around my parts.
It would happen fairly often with this boat since it is a flat bottom. My current build is a very deep V and will not have the cavitation issue in chop
Flying down a small river on a boat is the best feeling ever
I can happily argue with that. It’s not the best feeling when u hit something. Until then it is the best feeling
What size boat?
16' long 48" wide flat bottom jon boat
@@brandon_saville with a 110 on the back ? Ya okay buddy 🤣
@@soflomikey jet ski motor maybe? so weight is distributed differently
@@soflomikeyit's a jet ski engine. Quite common. Search "jet Jon" on UA-cam. A lot of people will cut the hull of the jet ski out (with engine still in place) and insert them into a Jon boat after cutting a hole in the bottom for the water intake and hole in the transom for the jet. Usually just bolted together then fiberglassed together for a water tight finish. Donor skis are cheap and so are old flat bottoms. These are regularly for sale in the $2k-3k range. Nice ones are $7k plus though. They only need INCHES of water to run as there are no parts below the boat hull. Now you know
@@donduck6195 agree. An they also make mini jet boats like this
Came across this randomly, and it sure looks a lot like my local water! This on the chattahoochee??
Yes it is - below Morgan Falls
Any idea how slowing you can get on plane?
It gets on plane very fast. I sold the boat but i would guess 10mph
was it hotter than a hoochie coochie?
You guys are bad ass flood what flood lol
What motor and size boat?
Motor is out of a 1997 Yamaha Wave Raider 1100 which is 110hp. Boat is 1648 Lowe flat bottom
I live close by and want to do a jet boat build. Looks like a blast
We will have one for sale shortly!
Great 'Heads Up' on bottom damage. With Great Speed comes Great Responsibility to boat and crew.
If you guys find this material it's almost like mud flap material you can put it on the bottom of the boat and it Glides right over rocks
Yep, its called UMHW. Really cool stuff. Planning on using it on my next build.
Did you guys reinforce the bottom or you just didn't give a shit I want to do the same thing to my boat but I don't know if I want to rockproof the bottom or not
We did not. I will be putting it on my next build. This was a budget build and the UMHW alone would cost more than i have in this whole thing. I did put Fasco super slick 2000 on the bottom which did protect it a little bit.
