Harbor Freight 20 Ton Shop Press Assembly
I needed a shop press to break down the spindles of my John Deere 46" mower deck so I went down to Harbor Freight and picked up their 20 Ton Shop Press. This video is the unboxing, assembly, and first use. Mistakes were made, things were said, but in the end, it all came together.

Переглядів 4016 місяців тому
In this episode we remove old, badly rusted body bushings and repair the subsequent rust damage on the frame underneath. Removing the Bronco's Transmission - How many broken bolts THIS time?
Переглядів 1856 місяців тому
In this episode, I remove the transmission and transfer case as one unit from below the Basket Case Bronco. So much RUST making the removal of bolts a real chore. Then, my home-brew transmission jack isn't up to the job so I have to find alternatives. To top it all off, I'm rewarded with finding massive issues with the Bronco's frame and the transmission itself. This ain't pretty, folks! 00:00 ...
Bronco Camper Jacks Part 3 - Testing the jacks. I hope they don't collapse!
Переглядів 1286 місяців тому
That's NOT what camper jacks are for! What kind of person installs camper jacks on their Bronco? Me! I needed a way to lift the body off the frame of the Basket Case Bronco and this seemed like just the ticket. In Part 3, I raise the body to the roof! Will the jacks fail?
Bronco Camper Jacks Part 2 - Finishing up the brackets

That's NOT what camper jacks are for! What kind of person installs camper jacks on their Bronco? Me! I needed a way to lift the body off the frame of the Basket Case Bronco and this seemed like just the ticket. In Part 2, I finish welding up the brackets for bolting camper jacks onto the body of my 71 Bronco. Like it doesn't already have enough problems. Tools used include angle grinder, plasma...
Bronco Camper Jacks Part 1 - Using camper jacks to make a poor man's car lift.

That's NOT what camper jacks are for! What kind of person installs camper jacks on their Bronco? Me! I needed a way to lift the body off the frame of the Basket Case Bronco and this seemed like just the ticket. Part 1 starts with me lighting myself on fire, followed by removing rusted bolts, and a technique for creating mounting brackets. Tools used include angle grinder, plasma cutter, bolt ex...
Removing the winch bumper from the Basket Case Bronco
Переглядів 1087 місяців тому
Continuing the long road of getting my '71 Ford Bronco back on the road. In this episode, I remove the front bumper, but what a front bumper it is! Bolted, rusted, and welded to the frame, this one was a challenge in itself.
Backing the Basket Case Bronco Down a Hill with a Tow Bar
Переглядів 2168 місяців тому
I'm about to begin the restoration of my 1971 Ford Bronco. I bought it as a basket case, fairly disassembled but complete from what I can tell. This is a RUSTY one for sure so there's going to be a lot of work to do. However, I first need to move this beast from the side of my house into my garage, down hill, with no brakes and only a tow bar to work with.
Running my hydro tiller on my JD 318 for the first time - Will it even work?
Переглядів 3,8 тис.8 місяців тому
This is my first use of a garden-tractor-adjacent tiller of any kind. Before this, I'd only had experience with walk-behind tillers. Further, this installation utilizes the upper arms of a 3-point hitch rather than the OEM upper mounting brackets. My first 5 minutes nearly ended in disaster with unintended destruction that my wife was not happy to hear about but you'll have to watch it to find ...
Installing a John Deere Model 30 Hydraulic Tiller on a 318
Переглядів 3,6 тис.8 місяців тому
This is my first time installing a John Deere 30 Hydro Tiller with 12" extension on my 1984 John Deere 318 garden tractor. I tried to cover the various steps of installation but my tractor has a 3-point hitch and I found that the upper arms of the 3-point were very close to the location of the OEM upper bracket attachment points. A tractor without a 3-point would bolt the OEM brackets to the ro...

CNC Router project test - Mini Fender Strat 1/4" End Mill
Just curious where did you get the blue weights? I have been into these garden tractors for years and this is the first time I've ever seen blue weights. Nice video! Thanks!
Thanks. I picked them up at a local farm for $30 each. The price and location was right at the time. I'm going to paint them green someday. lol.
Good videos, I was wondering if you know the length of your hydraulic hoses? I have a 332 and bought that series of tiller but it is set up for rear PTO(which i don't have). I bought the center mount bracket but the hoses are too short.
Thanks. I'll have to lay the hoses out and check. I think you'll also need the belly mounting setup.
NAH BRO YOU BETTER START RUNNING, QUICK HIDE IN A UNCHARTED UNIVERSE JUST RUUUN
Oh man that's nice. I wish the loader attachments for the 318s were easier to come by, and not have to pay an arm and leg for one. I sure would love to have one for mine.
Thanks for vid. Never even had mine on yet till kinda now. Didnt get any tractor brackets. Modified my arm to hook to 3pt brackets but cant lift it off ground. Geometry different seeing that was hooked lower so by making lifting rods shorter will do trick. Could you tell me how high it will lift. That would help a ton. Gonna have to get new hoses made as mine are completely shot😊 nice vid
I've posted a video of me using it that should give you a pretty good idea on how high it lifts.
You're going to have to play with the loader and get used to it. That's a cool little tractor
Thanks! Yep, I definitely need more stick time.
you should have drove with the flow of traffic after all its a peace of farm equipment even if its a garden tractor like that all you need is a smv sign and flashers it has headlights so legally all you need is flashers and a SMV sign because its farm equipment i do farm work with mine i have all the requirements for farm equipment i'm 100% legal because i'm only going 6 miles at the max and most of the time not even that because i go up the road to haul mulch dirt etc. and that's facts small town southern man out,
Your ideas are awesome, how can I get a set of plans from you,
tutorial???
Nice video, you did a great job of showing how it works.
Thanks!
Класс молодец. Я, сам токой, трактор собрал как у тебя😊
Thanks!
spacer?
I hung mine without the jack and after hanging then install jack
That's definitely the best way to do it. It didn't even occur to me until way after I finished. 😂
😮❤😊
😎👍
Thank you for this good video
cob world another f#cking cob world. lol
Thank you for posting this video and the first one. I’m currently looking for a hydraulic tiller myself and this video was very informative on a couple of things. Will you be posting anything on the front loader like build or installation? Again thank you. P.S. this is one of the best videos I’ve found on the subject.
Thank you! Yes, I'll be doing videos on my 318 and loader but probably this Spring. Unfortunately I didn't get video of the loader build but I took lots of pictures. I might compile a kind of build slide show video if that's something people would like to see.
@@AlexsProjects I would love to see that. And I’m subscribed now.
@@whosonfirst1309 Thanks! I'll put it on the list.

Please put the link to this portal gun
He made it himself, but you could probably ask him to build you one and then you could buy it. A few years ago, someone made Rick Prime's portal gun, and I messaged him like a year ago and asked if I could buy one. He was super nice, and said he no longer had the files to print it, so he made a whole new one, just for me, and even allowed me to make some modifications.
